The story was shared by TikTok user The_lickk and received several hundred thousand views. While some viewers sympathized with her, many others criticized her for being upset about workers carrying out what appeared to be necessary utility repairs.
The_lickk explained that she believed the workers were repairing a pipe under her yard but were seemingly working without any consideration for her residence. She says she caught them using her porch to set down their drinks and ended up covering the place with mud and water from the repairs.
Even with the mess, she said the workers themselves were friendly and respectful when she spoke with them. “The guys are super nice! Super grateful to them for doing what they do. Now I gotta figure out who is paying to replace my furniture,” the South Carolina woman wrote.
