A Wyoming man named Nathan Ray came across bones and an object that appeared to resemble a human skull while exploring a cave on camera. Ray, who was squeezing through increasingly narrow passages, said the object appeared to have eye sockets but did not confirm what it was.
The footage was posted to Ray’s TikTok account, nathanray99, where it received nearly one million views. The video attracted attention for both the unusual objects found inside the cave and the increasingly confined route he attempted to navigate.
After noticing bones on the cave floor, Ray continued farther inside and turned his camera toward an unusual object. When he struggled to get the camera to focus, he asked, “What the heck is that?” After zooming in, he said it appeared to be a human skull and pointed toward what he believed were eye sockets. He also said another object looked like a human heart, though he did not confirm what either object actually was.
The cave appeared to have once carried flowing water, and the Wyoming man suggested that it may not have been visited in a long time. As he went deeper, the passages became increasingly narrow. Ray admitted that the tight space was making him feel claustrophobic and expressed concern about getting back out.
After squeezing through the passage, he reached another section that descended farther into the mountain and showed crystal formations along the cave walls. The route continued narrowing, and Ray noted that it did not appear to open up farther ahead, making the path increasingly difficult to navigate.
The footage does not establish what the bones or skull-like object actually were. Ray’s comments were observations made while exploring, rather than confirmation that the objects were human remains.

The Wyoming man’s description of one passage as having “plenty” of room also became a source of humor, with viewers pointing out that he appeared to be struggling to squeeze through it. Others debated whether one of the bones could be a jawbone and imagined the possibility of someone following him into the cave or becoming trapped inside. “Hey, that’s the last person that was in the cave,” one user wrote.
