A man in Arkansas was allegedly fired from Coca-Cola after posting a video in which he appeared to pretend to snort drugs.

The man shared a TikTok video claiming that he had found the original video that allegedly led to his firing from Coca-Cola. He said the video was posted a year earlier, but he was still fired because of it. He then asked viewers to give him their honest opinions on whether he should have been fired, adding that he was off the clock when he made the video.

The man then shared the video he was allegedly fired over, and some viewers believed the decision was justified. In the footage, he appeared to be inside a factory that viewers assumed belonged to Coca-Cola, while he was also wearing Coca-Cola merchandise. He filmed himself reacting to a song alongside other coworkers. From the beginning of the video, the song contained explicit lyrics.

The song the man used was “Half On a Sack” by Three 6 Mafia. As he and his coworkers reacted to the song, they made a gesture pretending to snort cocaine when the lyrics said, “And fill her nose up full of that dust.”

As the song continued playing, the man appeared to make a sexual gesture by thrusting his body before continuing to react to the song and film himself with his coworkers. After the video ended, he asked viewers to share their opinions and tag Three 6 Mafia to see why he was allegedly fired.

Viewers Left in Disbelief Over Arkansas Man’s Video

After seeing the video that the Arkansas man was allegedly fired over, many viewers were shocked by its content. Some believed that the circumstances justified his firing. “I would have fired you twice,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Off the clock, but on property, in uniform making videos referencing slurs, drug usage, fornication and degrading women. They shoulda fired you soon as you clocked in.”

More people reacted to the video, with one person telling the man, “HR Director here….. You and the background dancers….FIRED.” Another person said, “HR here…. Woulda fired you in my sleep‼! You knew better! And that song‼! Byeeeee!” Someone else added, “The only thing unfair would be if the crew behind you didn’t get fired too, but I would definitely say this warrants termination.”

The situation highlighted the potential consequences employees can face when posting inappropriate content while wearing a company uniform. It also showed why employees may need to be mindful of the content they share on social media, even when they are not working.
