A Mississippi woman called out people for emptying out Walmart before the hurricane hits. The state could potentially see bad weather from Hurricane Isaias, so people have been prepping for a potential emergency. The woman posted a TikTok showing the packed store and empty shelves, which has been viewed over 234,700 times and has over 12,500 likes.

The woman takes you into “see what the inside of a Walmart looks like when a hurricane’s coming.” Sure enough, the parking lot is packed, and she claims she already “seen someone with two coolers.” Once inside, she shows the various empty shelves, highlighting specific items that were already gone. These include toilet paper, lunch meat, two-liter sodas, and “all the jugs of water.”

The most sought-after items also seem to include chips. The snack aisle was packed with people searching through what was left when the Mississippi woman passed by. However, some less-desirable items were left. A noticeable gap runs down the bread aisle, leaving the woman to conclude, “Looks like we’re getting wheat bread.” Noodles and Vienna sausage are also gone. And of course, “they took all of the bananas.” The woman grabs what she can and goes back to her car, where she calls out how empty the shelves are. She states, “Now ya’ll know you’re wrong for that. Ya’ll could have at least saved me one banana or one pack of noodles.”

Many Understand Mississippi Woman’s Struggle

Many rush into the comments, shouting out their own struggles and offering sympathy. One says, “Looks like our Walmart when everyone sees a snow flake lol 😂.” Another seconds that: “Yeah in Georgia that is the way ours looks when people even hear the word SNOW!!” However, several suggest getting supplies at the start of hurricane season or keeping emergency supplies on hand. One explains, “It’s like that dollar on the insurance commercial. You gotta be quicker than that!“

Meanwhile, others in the comments can relate to her frustration. One says, “Florida knows this struggle.” Another claims shares a similar experience: “I’m in NY and all the jugs of water were gone today. I’m like ???? I didn’t think we were getting much up here.” One person just enjoys the irony. They say, “Cracks me up everyone is freaking out but no one wants the wheat bread!!“

The Mississippi woman has posted a hurricane check-in on her channel, and so far it’s only been a few sprinkles. She assures that she has gas for the generator and chicken cooked, but unfortunately the dogs ate the bread.
