A disagreement on the road can quickly turn ugly when drivers stop treating each other with basic respect. But a video recorded in Salem, Oregon, captures a young woman taking a traffic dispute to another level by repeatedly hurling racist slurs at Hispanic drivers and telling them to leave the country.
Her remarks, including “Get the *expletive* out of my country,” have prompted angry reactions from viewers who questioned how someone so young could speak to others that way.
The video was shared on Instagram by @griz_35 and later reshared on X by @LongTimeHistory. According to the original Instagram caption, the incident was recorded in Salem, Oregon, and the person filming gave permission for the footage to be shared.
The video shows a young blonde woman wearing a pink hoodie sitting in the driver’s seat of her car in what appears to be a residential neighborhood. Filmed from another driver’s perspective, the footage captures her leaning toward her open window while holding up her smartphone to record the people outside her vehicle.
Rather than trying to calm the situation, the woman launches into a series of insults. “Go ahead, call him. Bring him here. Learn how to *expletive* drive,” she shouts before turning to racist abuse.
“Maybe you shouldn’t be in *expletive* America, you *expletive* wetbacks. Go back to Mexico, beaner,” she continues.
The woman appears determined to keep the confrontation going, telling the other drivers that she can record them, too. She also threatens to follow one of them before repeating her insults.
“I’m cool. I don’t give a *expletive*, *expletive* beaners. Get the *expletive* out of my country,” she says.
The brief clip ends without showing how the dispute began or whether anyone contacted the police. It also does not establish what initially prompted the argument between the drivers. What is clear from the footage is that the woman repeatedly directs anti-Hispanic slurs and anti-immigrant remarks at the people outside her car.
The original Instagram caption, written in Spanish, condemns the woman’s behavior and questions why people continue to target others because they are Mexican or Latino. It also notes that Oregon has laws addressing discrimination and bias-motivated offenses, while acknowledging that not every insult automatically constitutes a crime.
The caption concludes with a message to the Hispanic community. The statement translates to, “And let’s not forget that being Mexican is nothing to be ashamed of!”
Internet Reacts to Oregon Woman’s Roadside Tirade
Viewers on X were equally critical of the woman’s language. One commenter wrote, “That child is real comfortable using that language. That’s a daily word for her.” Another questioned how someone so young could express so much hostility, asking, “So young and so filled with hate. Is she a teenage white supremacist?”
A third viewer called out her behavior, writing, “That *expletive* kid needs to go back to school and learn something instead of hate!”
Others focused on the historical context behind her demand that the drivers leave the country. One commenter wrote, “This is what ignorance looks like, not knowing that the southwestern portion of the United States was once part of Mexico. They glory in their own stupidity.”
Another viewer criticized the repeated use of racist insults, commenting, “They literally have nothing else to say besides racist *expletive*. Deep down they know it’s cus their not some godlike supreme race so they have to be racist n try n project that.”
The footage does not establish whether the woman faced any legal consequences.
