A Pennsylvania train breakdown turned into free entertainment for passengers after one woman told an officer someone was waiting for her. Two other women weren’t having it, reminding her that everyone had somewhere to be. While many viewers cracked up at their response, others sympathized with the woman’s frustration over repeated transportation delays.
Posted to TikTok by @lizklosinski, the video catches a stopped SEPTA train with passengers still seated as an officer stands near the open doors. One woman explains that someone is waiting for her and has already been waiting an hour. Two women elsewhere on the train chime in, with one reminding her, “We all got somebody waiting for us,” before the other adds, “Patty.” Other passengers can be heard talking in the background, making parts of the exchange difficult to understand.

The women’s response was what had most commenters laughing. “I’m ctfu at them laughing in her face,” one commenter wrote. Another had a theory on how it all escalated. “They was already irked, and that last just gave them the green light to start up on her with that comment,” they explained.
Others focused on SEPTA, Pennsylvania’s transit agency, and the delays that sparked the exchange. “Regional rail has gotten so bad after 9 pm you be lucky if they don’t cancel them,” one viewer said. Someone else shared that they always use the bathroom before leaving work because SEPTA delays are so unpredictable. They also suggested keeping extra water and a snack on hand.
‘Patty’ herself got plenty of attention. “Patty should’ve just held that one,” one user wrote. A different viewer said they loved how some people act like their plans matter more than everyone else’s.
It wasn’t all jokes and barbs, though. Some commenters had more sympathy for the woman, with one asking, “I mean, wasn’t she asking for an update to tell the person waiting? Like, WTF was the point of coming at her like that?”
Transportation delays are frustrating and all too relatable. Sometimes, a random interaction like this is enough to shake off some of that annoyance, at least for the creator and viewers who got a laugh out of the whole thing.
