With less than two weeks until the midterm elections, Americans across the country have begun casting their votes early. Videos have surfaced on social media showing voters visiting polling locations and proudly displaying their “I Voted” stickers. While voters have different opinions about which candidates should win, one California woman believes voting Republican is the best choice.
Azariah Ficklin shared her views in a TikTok video, focusing mainly on immigration, an issue that continues to divide Democrats and Republicans. She believes the outcome of the elections could have a major impact on the country’s future. The video received more than 4,000 likes and attracted several supportive comments from viewers who agreed with her political views.
Ficklin, who lives in Los Angeles, pointed to reports of unrest in France to explain her concerns. Protests involving students reportedly began in mid-September over poor school conditions before escalating into riots, looting, and arson.
Some claims circulating online have blamed immigrants for the unrest. Conservative political figures, including President Donald Trump, have criticized France’s immigration policies, while French officials have reportedly blamed far-left radicals for the violence. However, the claim that immigrants were mainly responsible has not been established.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding those claims, Ficklin warned Americans that similar unrest could happen in the United States if they did not vote Republican. “What’s going on in France right now will be coming to a city near you,” she said.
Speaking about her own experience, Ficklin claimed that she was living in a social program in Los Angeles and had witnessed undocumented immigrants receiving better treatment than American citizens.
She argued that people should not be allowed to enter the United States illegally, even if they had children. According to Ficklin, the country needed stricter immigration policies, and anyone seeking to enter should follow the legal process.
“I need everybody across the United States voting red, okay?” Ficklin stated. “Do you guys want people from Iran… people from all over the world coming over here, flooding and changing the dynamic of our culture. Please, no.”
Viewers React to California Woman’s Political Message
Several viewers supported Ficklin’s message and agreed with her call for Americans to vote Republican.
“AMEN to that. SAVE AMERICA,” one viewer exclaimed. “Finally common sense,” another commented. “EXACTLY. WE HAVE TO VOTE RED TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY!!” a third person agreed. “Do it for our children’s future,” someone else said.
Some people shared how they and their families were planning to vote. “I’m in North Cali and all our family are all voting RED!” one person wrote. “I am voting red. My sister is in LA and she is voting red. She told me there are more republicans there than one would guess!” another shared. Someone in Texas also chimed in, “All 7 of my family members voted red!”
Others criticized the Democratic Party, with some saying they saw no reason to support its candidates.
“WAKE UP PEOPLE STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT,” one commenter declared. “Yea I cant find a single reason to vote blue. havent been able to in 28 yrs,” another wrote. “I hope nobody ever votes Democrat again for the love of our country,” a third added.
Most of the comments discussed were supportive of Ficklin, but that doesn’t mean most California voters share her views. With the midterm elections fast approaching, it remains to be seen how voters in the state will cast their ballots.
