A Texas man who regularly shares his political opinions and talks about his Christian faith on TikTok has delivered a harsh message to Democratic voters. The self-proclaimed Trump supporter sarcastically wished Americans planning to vote blue in the upcoming midterm elections the same living conditions as people in countries facing economic hardship and restrictions on freedom.
His video has received mixed reactions on TikTok. Some viewers criticized the man for wishing such things on others, especially since he openly discusses his Christian faith. However, others who shared his political views agreed with his message.
The video was posted on Tuesday and has continued to attract attention online. In the clip, the man addressed Americans planning to vote for Democratic candidates in next month’s elections.
“To every person voting blue…, I wish you the prosperity of Venezuela, the salaries of Cuba, the freedom of North Korea, the human rights of China, the women’s rights of Iran, the democracy of Russia, and the security of Mexico,” he said.
The countries he mentioned have faced various political, economic, and human rights challenges over the years.
For instance, North Korea operates under a dictatorship where citizens have very limited freedoms. The government heavily restricts free speech, political opposition, and access to information from outside the country.
Venezuela has also experienced years of economic hardship, while China has faced criticism over its treatment of political dissidents, censorship, and government surveillance.
By making these comparisons, the TikToker appeared to suggest that Americans would face similar conditions if they elected Democrats. “You get what you vote for,” the caption on his post read.
Viewers React to Texas Man’s Message
Several people were unhappy with the man’s remarks in the video.
“That’s a curse & I don’t think Christians should be cursing people. You are out of order sir,” one person wrote. Another asked, “Why would you wish that? what sense does that even make?” A third commented, “Your lies and propaganda won’t work, please go away you add nothing of substance and are a waste of Gods love.” A fourth added, “More whiney underachieving republicans who won’t move to red states because they know the grass is greener here.”
Some made it clear that they still intended to vote for Democrats. “I’m voting blue, if I get it you get it too,” one commenter said. Another chimed in, “I wish our usa to be respected and hate, fear, division be removed. voting blue.”
Meanwhile, some commenters who shared his political views said they were on his side.
“He said what he said,” one simply remarked. Another wrote, “Love your message. We need to do our part to open all eyes. We need a red wave to save our way of living.” A third claimed, “Voting blue is voting to destroy the United States.” Someone else declared, “Anyone vot[ing] blue hates America.”
The midterm elections are scheduled for November 3, just six days away. Americans will head to the polls to elect members of Congress and decide several state and local races. Early voting is already underway in several states.
