It’s no secret that Microsoft isn’t the biggest fan of the old Internet Explorer browser but since they introduced Microsoft Edge years ago they have been saying that they would not be supporting  Internet Explorer. While most people do use others like browsers Chrome, Firefox, or Edge their a lot of business that uses the old Internet Explorer due to the fact that you can get older web browsers.

Microsoft felt the need to kill off Internet Explorer in 2015 due to it being a compatibility issue. Due to this fact its kind of a pain to update older apps on the browser they strongly feel that these companies that have it should just get rid of it.

In a statement by Chris Jackson, he says

We’re not supporting new web standards for it and, while many sites work fine, developers by and large just aren’t testing for Internet Explorer these days. They’re testing on modern browsers,” said Jackson. “So, if we continued our previous approach, you would end up in a scenario where, by optimizing for the things you have, you end up not being able to use new apps as they come out. As new apps are coming out with greater frequency, what we want to help you do is avoid having to miss out on a progressively larger portion of the web!Chris Jackson

Microsoft is said to be making a new browser similar to Google Chrome but not a lot of details are known about it only that this new browser will be ready for testing in the coming weeks. Also when it comes out it should be good to use not just on the latest Windows 10 update but also on both Windows 7 and 8.

What do you think about Microsoft saying that if you have the old Explorer browser or any reason its best to just throw it away? Do you still have the browser? Leave a comment down below and for more on this new browser stay on thenerdstash.com.
