Will there be a new character in Overwatch? The teaser released yesterday may have “slipped” a new character coming soon. With all the latest arcade battle royale games coming out, Overwatch might be trying to boost the games ratings. You first see that someone is hacking into the to recover a communications record of Captain Cuerva, in which the character discusses the operation to capture or eliminate, one Jean-Baptiste Augustin. Baptiste is who many believe will be the next Overwatch hero, and all of the evidence is pointing to this being the case. The exciting take on decoding the message has fans twitching. Most decoders have discovered that most of the code is hexadecimal code. We found that there is one word in the coding that gives fans chills. Baptiste. With Baptiste name in the code on a retrieve or kill document, we assume he is most likely the next hero in Blizzard’s Overwatch. If Baptiste is the next playable character, he will be Overwatch’s 30th hero.
Many of us who watch out for news like this and go so far as decoding a message from Blizzard, we are fully aware that Blizzard is capable of teasing and never giving anything. No sign or response, to the point where if it isn’t officially announced, it is all speculation. Of course, as it is with any information like this, we recommend keeping the salt nearby at all times. I have got to say though this has been one of the more fun teasers. I even tried decoding the message myself. Overwatch and Blizzard will always throw surprises your way.
