The stunning mother of two shared a carousel of photos, showcasing the beautiful memories she had had with her children. The Submission actress accompanied the snapshots with a lengthy caption, detailing the challenging side of motherhood. Firstly, Addison Timlin admitted being a single mom wasn’t what she hoped for, adding that it was very difficult.
“It is f***ing hard. It is all out covered in shit crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard,” Timlin wrote.
Besides being challenging, Addison Timlin described being a single mom as lonely. According to her, she had to deal with remembering magical moments by herself, as there was no one around to witness them. Despite the difficulties, Timlin didn’t fail to acknowledge the great parts of motherhood. According to her, living with children was wondrous and joyful. Overall, Timlin said she felt peaceful, as being a mom was the only thing she always wanted. In addition, raising kids alone gave Timlin more strength, empathy, and tears than anyone had given her. In her final words, the Hollywood star thanked everyone who had been a vital part of her single motherhood journey. From mothers who picked up their kids from school during an emergency, to those who came for playdates on the weekend, Timlin was grateful.

The emotional Mother’s Day post comes amid Addison Timlin and Jeremy Allen’s divorce. The pair first met when they were teens filming 2008’s Afterschool. Although it is unclear when their relationship progressed into romance, the actress hinted at the new flame in 2013. Five years later, Addison Timlin and Jeremy Allen welcomed their first child, Ezer. Then, in 2019, the estranged couple married in a courthouse ceremony. The following year, they welcomed their second child, Dolores. But sadly, after about four years of marriage, Timlin and Allen have called it quits. Timlin filed for divorce on May 11, 2023, citing the separation date as September 1, 2022. The mom of two is asking for spousal support, while other divorce details remain under wraps.
