Is crossing your fingers and wishing on stars not working out? There’s another way to turn luck to your side in AFK Journey. Rerolls aren’t mandatory to beat the story, but if you want S-tier pulls for your favorite AFK Arena characters in their new adventure, rerolls are the way. As you already know if you play Genshin or other gacha games, character pulls can be frustrating when you have limited chances to snag the hero you want. That’s just the price of perfection. Here’s the AFK Journey reroll guide you need to claim the heroes of your dreams.

There are a few ways to do rerolls in AFK Journey. The first is server hopping. Although it’s a simple process, server hopping has its downsides that are worth keeping in mind. Here’s what you need to do to reroll this way:

  • Open Settings and then navigate to “Others”
  • Select “Character Switch” and then “Create New Character”
  • Choose a new server and confirm your selection
  • If you don’t like the rolls you get on the new server, repeat the process

One downside to this method is that a username can only be used once per server, so it’s easy to get locked out of your preferred name by accident. Make sure you’re using a default name at first and only change to your preferred name once you’re happy with your rerolls. You don’t want to have the right name and the wrong heroes, after all.

The second way to reroll in AFK Journey is by using multiple accounts. It’s easiest if you create multiple emails in advance, that way you don’t have to keep interrupting the game to make new ones. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Create multiple email accounts
  • Log in with one email and roll your characters
  • If you don’t like the rolls you got, switch to a new account on a different email and try again, repeating this process until you get rolls you like

You might be familiar with the effort it takes to get the perfect Arlecchino squad in Genshin, but if you’re not, this process will blow the dust off those memories.

Do You Need to Reroll?

The truth is most players don’t need to reroll in AFK Journey. That’s because everyone gets Cecia in their 1st 10-pull and a guaranteed Epic healer like Rowan in their 3rd 10-pull. Although they might not have perfect stats, the characters you pick up along the way will be more than enough to finish the story. If you’re determined to have perfect stats on your favorite characters, however, rerolls are still the way to go.

AFK Journey is available for PC, Android, and iOS.
