As someone who did a preview for The Alters, one of the most exciting news during the Triple-I initiative was the release date for this game. If you didn’t know, The Alters throws the main character into a perilous world where he must survive with the help of himself. Yes. You read that right. The Alters takes many survival-crafting aspects but weaves them with an intriguing story involving alternate versions of the protagonist. So, if you ever wondered if you’d survive with yourself on another planet or just want a great survival-crafting game, or both, this game is not too far away from landing.
The Alters Unveils Its Release Date for June 13, 2025
After a long, long wait, The Alters finally has a release date. This game will arrive on June 13, 2025. So far, everyone in the community has reacted positively to the announcement, which is quite huge.
While we know the survival-crafting genre isn’t new, 11 bit Studios is definitely trying to bring something different, and the setting for The Alters is the shot of originality the genre needs.
The Alters does more than just place you inside a dangerous planet to scavenge materials and look for ways to survive. It creates an existential crisis that makes you wonder what would’ve happened if you had taken a different path in life. You’ll see these things through the eyes of Jan Dolski, Jan Dolski, and, you guessed it, Jan Dolski.
It is really intriguing to see how surviving in a strange environment won’t be the only hardship our protagonist will face. In the end, the biggest challenge is surviving with yourself, and we can’t wait to see how that story unfolds.
