Team17 and One More Dream Studios have just unveiled a new trailer that showcases powers and abilities in their new upcoming game Ageless. In this new Nintendo Switch puzzle platformer, there is a feature called time manipulation and in the trailer, it showcases how this power can be used through the levels found in Ageless.
Some examples of how players can use this time manipulation mechanic in-game include the following; manipulating the age of creatures, to literally freezing time itself. A Time Freezing Adventure: Gameplay Overview And Features
In Ageless you play as a young girl called Kiara who becomes lost and suddenly gains the power to control the age of both plants and animals by some strange obelisk. Throughout the game, you will traverse a strange world and solve puzzles using her unique powers. Below, we will list some key features you can find in the game.
Features of Ageless:
- Unique Aging Mechanic: The player can age flora and Animals through various stages of their life in order to solve the various puzzles found in the game.
- Timeless platforming: The player can use Kiara’s bow to dash off various plants and fauna to navigate through intricate puzzles and platforming challenges.
- Unique worlds: Multiple areas with several different kinds of animals and puzzles spread throughout the game. Each level is also hand-drawn to “pixel perfection” to help overall to create a beautiful world.
- Mysterious collectibles: The game will also feature several collectibles that are only obtainable by solving certain puzzles and challenges that are hidden through the various levels of the game.
