A man identified as being from Alabama has gone viral after a profanity-filled confrontation with a woman in a Colorado parking lot. According to the woman who recorded the encounter, the argument began after she walked behind him outside a Safeway store. He was recorded threatening her, grabbing her phone, and ultimately calling her a “liberal,” all while praising President Donald Trump, of all things.
The viral clip was shared on TikTok by Charlie, also known as charl1ekate. She regularly shares lifestyle content on her account, so the video attached above definitely stood out. It also became one of her biggest ones yet, garnering 1.4 million views, 119,300 likes, and more than 4,700 comments.
Charlie began recording the Alabama man mid-interaction, but she gave some context in the captions. According to her, she had gone outside to grab her card from her car, exiting a Safeway right behind the man shown above. According to Charlie, the man suddenly turned around and began yelling at her.
Filled with expletives, the man threatened Charlie from the get-go, telling her that he would get his “redneck” family to beat her up. The woman only laughed at his threats and insults, and the man, in turn, called her a “hippie” and a “liberal,” right before threatening to call the police.
‘Trump Is Number One’
Charlie kept recording and following the man. At one point, he turned around and attempted to grab her phone. He failed to do so, and then asked another man for help getting Charlie away from him. No one intervened at all.
The woman began to walk away, and the man approached her slightly, telling her she was “scum.” Charlie asked, “What do you want from me?” and the man walked away, again asking someone to defend him from her.
He then said, “Donald Trump is number one,” before continuing to argue with Charlie.
That didn’t work, of course, as the woman just walked toward her car and grabbed her purse. As she returned, the man kept arguing with another person, repeating he was from Alabama and accusing Charlie of being a “liberal.”
“That’s pathetic, that you’re screaming at a young girl because she was standing too close to you,” Charlie said.

The video sparked multiple responses online, mostly from users left shocked and confused by the man’s rant. One said, “I always wonder if they think Trump knows them personally.” Another one commented, “He thinks you’re liberal because you’re beautiful.”
One user claimed to be a Safeway employee who apparently witnessed the whole interaction. He said, “I came to you inside at self-checkout and felt so bad. We called the cops and filed a complaint. I’m so sorry.” Charlie responded, “Yes!! Thank you so much. It’s totally not your fault…“
Whether the argument started over personal space or something else entirely, the exchange quickly spiraled into a confrontation that left millions of viewers trying to make sense of it.
