Alexandra Daddario‘s Instagram fans went wild as she debuted her newborn baby on Halloween. On October 31, The White Lotus actress marked the arrival of her baby on social media, sharing a cute hospital photo of her munchkin covered in miniature Halloween candy.
Marking Halloween and showing her sense of humor, Alexandra joked that her baby was a “weird bowl of candy,” delighting fans with the news that she and husband Andrew Form are now parents. The actress, 38, had announced her pregnancy earlier this year. She also made headlines for revealing what sounded like a tragic miscarriage in a candid reveal to Vogue. The Instagram post has now topped 700,000 likes, with celebrity likes coming in from costar Sydney Sweeney and Emily in Paris star Lily Collins.
Alexandra Daddario Debuts New Baby On Instagram
Possibly in an incubator, Alexandra’s baby lay all swaddled and wearing a teeny beanie hat, with hardly any of its face showing.
Opting out of sharing the gender of her newborn, the True Detective alum had amusingly scattered a ton of candy over her little bundle of joy, with fans seeing bars of Twix and Snickers among other well-known brands.
In a caption, she wrote: “I thought this was a weird bowl of candy.”
That Baby Bump Debut
On July 10, Alexandra posted to Instagram to debut her baby bump. Looking cozy as she sat on a kitchen island with a coffee cup, the Hollywood star wore an unbuttoned shirt displaying her blossoming bump, plus a pair of socks.
Jokingly referencing the number of celebrities pregnant in 2024, she wrote: “Excited for my child to go to pre-school with Margot Robbie and hailey bieber’s kids.” While supermodel Hailey Bieber has since welcomed son Jack, Barbie actress Margot is still expecting.
Daddario is already a stepmom to producer husband Andrew Form’s kids, Rowan and Julian. Speaking to Vogue amid her pregnancy reveal, she stated:
“I had been pregnant. Then I had a loss. It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific. Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them.”
Ahead of the birth, the Dior ambassador showcased the immaculate nursery she and husband Andrew had prepped. Fans also got regular pregnancy updates that included Alexandra’s cravings for ice cream and gelato. She even dedicated an entire IG share to photos of herself indulging in the frozen treat.
