Christmas bought a special surprise for Alexis Bellino this year. Enjoying all the happiness of a new relationship during the holiday season, the former RHOC personality showed off her Christmas present from boyfriend John Janssen.
Shannon Beador’s Ex Gifted Alexis Bellino a Ring
On Christmas Eve, Alexis Bellino shared a new photo on Instagram, showing off the promise ring that she got from John Janssen for the holiday.
“Worst cannot. Actions do,” she wrote. “I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create it’s [sic] own story. I love you Johnny J.”
In the hashtags, she noted the two are “not engaged,” but “promised.” Alexis also chose to disable comments on the post.
The Pricey Gift Comes Early in the Pair’s Relationship
Alexis Bellino also tagged French jewelry maker Van Cleef & Arpels in the post. The ring pictured is one of their signature four-leaf clover pieces with pearl trim from the brand’s Perlée collection. It retails for over $12,000 and is unlike anything John Janssen was known to have given ex Shannon Beador during their nearly four-year relationship.
Fans online debated whether the ring was the real thing or a knock-off, while another pointed out that either way, it seemed like a slap in the face to Beador.
Beador spoke out about Alexis and Janssen’s new relationship for the first time earlier this month, telling E! News,
“I’m not going to lie, I’ve been hurt. I’ve been hurt a lot in the last couple of weeks because, no. 1, John said he didn’t want to be in the public eye, and he’s thrust himself more into the public eye at this point.”
“So, I’m quite confused about that… I don’t know how to process it,” she continued, musing, “How many Orange County Housewives have there been? Is that your dating pool?”
