There are a ton of animals that you can find around the map in GTA Online. Only some of these, however, are animals that are a part of the wildlife photography event. You’ll be able to find the locations of a hen, pig, poodle, and more when the time comes to know where all the animals are in GTA Online. Let’s take a look at all the animal wildlife photography locations in GTA Online.
How To Start The Shoot Animals Wildlife Photography Challenge
In order to start the wildlife photography challenge in GTA Online, you need to head to the LS Tourist Board. Follow these directions to get started:
- Check the LS Tourist Board.
- You can also wait to receive an email from the LS Tourist Board.
- Regardless of where you check, you’ll get a list of three animals to photograph.
- Check back every day for a new set of animals.
- When you take a photo of your first animal, you’ll receive the Parker Ranger vehicle.
- Once you complete the first set of animals, you will receive The Zoophilist Outfit.
In the above image, the LS Tourist Board can be found where the 12th animal can be found.
Every Animal Wildlife Photography Location in GTA Online Table of Contents
1. Boar
Not to be confused with the pig, the boar is a completely different animal. The boar has a brown, fuzzy coat and short tusks on the side of its snout. We located them on the east side of the map by Grapeseed.
2. Border Collie
The Border Collie is just one of the dogs you can find in GTA Online. We were able to locate a few in Paleto Bay on the north of the map. In this same area, you might as well grab a photo of the Hen just a bit north.
3. Cat
We were able to find a cat to photograph in Vinewood. They’re all over the area, but we recommend visiting Vinewood Boulevard more specifically. You can also try your luck in generally urban areas. Like the dog, the cat is pretty common to find.
4. Chicken Hawk
In the Grand Senora Desert, we were able to knock out three animals on our list, including the Chicken Hawk. If you’re at this point, go ahead and take a photo of the Great Cormorant and crow as well.
5. Cow
Just north of the Alamo Sea, in Mount Chiliad, you’ll find the cow. They’re pretty hard to miss as you’re passing through. We circled a small area on the map above, but you can realistically find the cow anywhere in the Mount Chiliad area.
6. Coyote
Head over to Sandy Shores when the time comes to find a coyote. They’re usually in packs of two or three. Try not to get too close because it will scare them away. In our experience, they can also become hostile if you get too close.
7. Crow
Like the Chicken Hawk above, you can find the crow in the Grand Senora Desert. It stands out from the other birds because of its black feathers. You can also find the Great Cormorant in the area.
8. Deer
Where you were able to find the boar in Grapeseed, you’ll also find the deer. We also saw some in the Mount Chiliad area but didn’t keep tabs on how often. We recommend just going to the area outlined on the map above for your best chance.
9. Great Cormorant
Just like the crow and the Chicken Hawk above, the Great Cormorant can be found in the Grand Senora Desert. Unlike the other two birds, this one is much bigger. It also has a defining yellow beak and a wide wingspan.
10. Hen
North of where you can find the Border Collie in Paleto Bay, you can also find the hen; they’re normally found in high places. Check cliffsides or even the top of buildings for the best luck.
11. Husky
In Richman, you’ll be able to find Huskies. These dogs resemble wolves but have a darker coat. Considering they’re pets, you can usually find them in parks or even walking behind their owners in urban areas.
12. Mountain Lion
As their name suggests, head to the mountains to find the Mountain Lion. More specifically, you should go to Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. We were able to find one pretty quickly after going to the LS Tourist Board.
13. Pig
The pig is another easy animal to find. You’ll want to find a farm in Grapeseed, just north of the Alamo Sea. There will be a few pigs that you can snap photos of while you’re here.
14. Poodle
The poodle is another dog that you can easily find in urban areas. Alongside the pug and the West Highland Terrier, you can find these dogs in Rockford Hills. They’re considered to be more high-class than other dogs for some reason.
15. Pug
Just like the poodle above, you can find the Pug in Rockford Hills in San Andreas. Like other dogs, you can usually find it in front of homes, in parks, or walking behind their owners on sidewalks.
16. Rabbit
The Rabbit is a little harder to find. They’re located in Great Chaparral, according to our findings. They run away once they sense you’re nearby. You’ll want to take photos from afar to avoid having to find another one because the first ran away.
17. Retriever
The Golden Retriever is yet another dog you can find. Unlike some of the more upscale dogs, you can spot this one in Vinewood Hills. These are all homes, for the most part, so just look around a few until you find one to snap a photo of.
18. Rottweiler
Chop is a Rottweiler, in case you didn’t know. You can also find another one to take a photo of in South Los Santos. Like other dogs, you can find them around homes or following their owners around.
19. Seagull
The seagull is easily located near the sea. We went to the pier in Vespucci to find the ones we took photos of. Realistically, you can go to any beach to easily find them.
20. West Highland Terrier
West Highland Terriers are considered upscale dogs, like pugs and poodles. As a result, you can find them all in the same place in Rockford Hills. They’re located following their owners around in shopping plazas and in parks.
