As you may know, almost every Resident Evil game has some sort of collectible you can get to then purchase a few upgrades for your character or even some other things to help them throughout their journey. Since Resident Evil Requiem has two protagonists, the one to experience this type of gameplay is Grace, in the form of Antique Coins. Here, we will show you every upgrade you can buy with these items, as well as the cost of each, and which ones you should prioritize.
All Upgrades You Can Buy With Antique Coins
There are a total of four upgrades for Grace that you can purchase with Antique Coins in Resident Evil Requiem. They may seem like a few, but the truth is that they are game-changing and can really make your time at the hospital much easier. Before we decide which one to purchase first, let’s talk about how to get to the room with the upgrades.
Where To Exchange Antique Coins in Resident Evil Requiem

You will first need to grab the unicorn box from the Chairman’s office and return to the parlor, which is on the corridor leading to the kitchen in the West Wing. Once you place the object inside the door, it will open, letting you inside the parlor where the Antique Coins machines are.
You will find the following upgrades with a specific Antique Coin cost:
- Inventory Upgrade (Two Spaces):Â 3 Antique Coins
- Stabilizer (Firearm Damage Upgrade):Â 4 Antique Coins
- Steroids (HP Upgrade):Â 4 Antique Coins
- Blood Collector Upgrade:Â 6 Antique Coins
In terms of priorities, get the inventory upgrade first, the blood collector upgrade second, and leave the other two for later.
How To Get Antique Coins
The truth is that Antique Coins are easy to find in Resident Evil Requiem, to the point that you will end up with more than you need. For example, each locked safe in the hospital has three coins, which totals six. And then there’s another safe that’s open in the waiting room that has three more coins, which are enough for the first two upgrades. If you need more, you will find them as you explore, and they will always be marked on your map.
While we recommend buying some upgrades first, the choice is yours. Just remember that whatever you pick is permanent, and it may take a while until you have enough coins to purchase a different upgrade.
