Assassin’s Creed is a popular video game series that combines action, violence, and historical characters. It is well-known among gamers, and if you are a dedicated fan, you probably have all the games. Here are the all Assassin’s Creed games in order.
In response to Ubisoft’s recent event revealing details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Infinity and other new titles, a chronology and release order has been listed. The list only focuses on the main Assassin’s Creed titles, as spinoffs are not considered important to the overall story.
Assassin’s Creed Games in Chronological Order
There are two approaches to playing the Assassin’s Creed games in chronological order. The first method is to play the games according to storylines, as the connective narrative of each main game is told through the present day.
- Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey (431 BCE)
- Assassin’s Creed: Origins (49–43 BCE)
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage* (850 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (873–878 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed (1191 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed II (1476-1499 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood (1500s CE)
- Assassin’s Creed Revelations (1511-1512 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed III (1754-1783 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (1715-1722 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue (1752-1760 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed Unity (1789 CE)
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (1868 CE)
*The release of the Mirage is not clear. However, the story will follow Basim, a beloved character from Valhalla, as he joins the Hidden Ones and uncovers his true identity. The game will take place in Baghdad, around the 850s CE, 20 years before the events of Valhalla.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been around since 2007 and has seen tremendous success over the years. The first game in the series is Assassin’s Creed and it was released in 2007.
