All Coral Highlands Camp Locations in Monster Hunter World

A bit of R & R while hunting.

Initially, camps might not seem like the most useful thing in MHW, but they are, especially in late-game areas like the Coral Highlands. These safe zones let you restock before a hunt, change your equipment, and, most importantly, serve as a checkpoint should you faint at the claws of a monster. While most areas have one camp unlocked by default, you must search for other locations in Monster Hunter World to establish these bases, as is the case for the Coral Highlands. So, prepare your weapons, potions, and a few other items before some exploring is due.

How To Unlock All Camps in the Coral Highlands in MHW

The Coral Highlands in Monster Hunter World only have two camps. The first one unlocks similarly to the previous zones’ first camps, which is by progressing the story. However, for the second one, you’ll need to do a quick optional mission for it. Here is how to unlock each one:

  • Southern Camp
    • You unlock this one by default. All you must do is progress through the main story until you reach the assignment “Ballooning Problems.”
  • Northeast Camp
    • This one is a bit tricky and requires you to explore and deliver a few things. Below is a detailed guide for it.

How To Find the Northeast Camp

The Northeastern Camp is one of the campsite locations in the Coral Highlands in Monster Hunter World. First, you must find its location, which can be a bit challenging due to the layout of this area. Thankfully, we’ve listed the recommended path to find it:

1. Start from the Southern Camp and jump down the ledge in front of you.

2. After jumping down the ledge, head left until you reach some vines to climb.

3. Climb the vines while avoiding any monsters. A Paolumu usually spawns here.

4. Once you climb the vines, head left through the bridge-like structure.

5. You’ll encounter a gap you have to jump; do so until you reach an area full of flying creatures and, you guessed it, a Paolumu.

6. Take a left once you see the flying creature’s nest until you spot another climbable wall.

7. Climb the two sets of vines until you reach the top.

8. Take a left once you’re at the top, and you’ll enter a cave with Shamos; defeat them if you want.

9. After defeating the Shamos, climb the vine at the far back of the cave.

10. Reach the second floor and climb the next vine there to reach the top of this zone.

Unlocking the Camp

Once you find the location during an expedition, all you must do is return to the HQ and grab the specified delivery quest for this camp. You’ll need the following items:

  • x1000 Research Points
  • x1 Tzitzi-Ya-Ku Hide
  • x2 Monster Bone M

Deliver these items back to HQ, and you can now spawn in the new camp.

Reaching all camps in the Coral Highlands in MHW is a bit daunting and requires some patience, especially with all the creatures roaming around. Thankfully, there are other two you have to find, with one of them being unlocked by default, so it isn’t so bad. Still, remember to stock up on items in case you face any threats while exploring.
