Before the Cataclysm, Night Elves and Tauren were the only ones capable of becoming Druids, and that remains the same in WoW Classic: Season of Discovery, albeit with a few new runes to obtain. These runes provide this class with many new gameplay opportunities, such as improved healing, damage output, and even more powerful spell casting.
