Jingliu Is Now Revealed With The “A Flash” Animation!
Honkai Star Rail‘s new short “A Flash” has revealed many secrets about the game’s upcoming 5-star character Jing Yuan and potential new character Jingliu. In this animated short, we get a glimpse of Jing Yuan’s childhood and his sword master, Jingliu. It seems that these two got along very well in the past, but as time passed, things fell apart.
We witness how Jing Yuan and Jingliu’s bond is severed, as the scenes in “A Flash” show the present and make flashbacks to the past. Scenes of how Jing Yuan still pays homage and commitment to his former master stand out in the cinematic. Considering that Jingliu was the one who shaped Jing Yuan into his current strength, that makes sense.
Who is Jingliu in Honkai Star Rail?
Moving on to Jingliu’s lore in Honkai Star Rail, she brutally murdered her own mentor because she became stricken by Mara and lost her will. It is known that those who surrender to Mara fall into madness and cannot control themselves. In case the same happens to her, Jingliu instructed Jing Yuan that he should do the same without a second thought.
Fears came to pass, and Jingliu became stricken by Mara, pierced many Cloud Knights who came to stop her. She ruthlessly destroyed everyone in her path, one by one, until Jing Yuan finally left. Jing Yuan remembered well the instructions his old master gave him and knew what to do.
That’s all we know about Jingliu’s story so far, but many Honkai Star Rail leakers have rumored that the character will be coming to the game, and she has more to offer.

Is Jingliu Coming to Honkai Star Rail?
Several insiders have been stating that Jingliu would be coming to the game since last year, and there have been several leaks. However, nothing has been officially released about Jingliu, keeping her from being a confirmed character. With the newly released “A Flash” cinematics, there is now an official hint that Jingliu may join the cast and has a big chunk of the lore.
Many fans believe that Jingliu will come as a playable character. But these are all based on Honkai Star Rail leaks. Furthermore, a Honkai leak page called Mero has released her entire kit. According to this source, Jingliu will be a 5-star Ice character, and her path will be “The Destruction.” Moreover, if these leaks are accurate, Jingliu could be a powerful and technical character in Star Rail.
