NPCs have been in Fortnite for a long time, and sometimes they can be very useful for players. At the same time, Epic Games sometimes uses them as a tool for completing quests, so it’s important to know where to find these NPCs in Fortnite. These NPCs can also join your team and fight alongside you for a certain Gold Bar. On the other hand, you can use the Gold Bar to buy certain items from them. Now, let’s take a look at the locations of all NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 whether you want to hire them or buy an item.
1. Sun Tan Specialist
We can say that Sun Tan Specialist is the medic of NPCs. In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, the Sun Tan Specialist is located on the beach at the bottom left of the map. You can find some chests and a relatively decent amount of loot at this location.

2. Metal Mouth
The Metal Mouth NPC is located on a mountain in the middle of Reckless Railways and Classy Courts. You shouldn’t have a problem directly landing at this location because you can find enough loot for one person.

- Cluster Clinger x2: 200 Gold
- Ammo: Medium Bullets x10: 10 Gold
3. Vengeance Jones
One of Fortnite‘s most iconic characters has been added as an NPC in Chapter 5 Season 1. He is located in a secret underground tunnel between Fencing Fields and Pleasant Piazza. You can reach this secret location from the small building marked on the map or through the train tunnel.
You can get the Prop Disguise service from Vengeance Jones for 50 Gold Bars, which turns you into an object.

4. Hope
Hope, one of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 NPCs, is located in a secret underground tunnel just like Vengeance Jones. This secret area is located in the tunnel just above Hazy Hillside.

- Grapple Blade: 400 Gold
5. Snow Striker
Snow Striker is in an extremely remote spot on a snowy mountain where no one visits. To be more specific, it is located in a campground on the summit of the big mountain just below the Grand Glacier POI where the Montague boss is located.
You can find about 5-6 Chests here. In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, Snow Striker is a Scout Specialist, meaning that if you recruit him for 250 Gold Bars, he will scout for you.

6. Steelsight
Steelsight NPC is located in Rebel’s Roost. You can hire this NPC as a Supply Specialist for 200 Gold Bars. If you do so, he will provide you with bullets at regular intervals.

7. Contract Giller
Contract Giller is another NPC you can encounter in Fortnite. You can find him in the harbor above Classy Courts. Be careful when landing here, however, as there is very little loot to be found.

8. Mecha Team Shadow
Mecha Team Shadow is, in my opinion, one of the best NPCs you can add to your team in Fortnite. He is located in the train station in the middle of the Ruined Reels and Ritzy Riviera locations. He is a Heavy Specialist, constantly throwing Grenades at enemies.

- Heavy Specialist: 200 Gold
- Anvil Rocket Launcher: 250 Gold
- Ammo: Medium Bullets x10: 10 Gold
9. Leelah
Leelah can be found in the structure at the top of the mountain on the right side of Hazy Hillside. We can’t recruit her to our team, but she sells useful items. This NPC, like Holiday Boxy, was added to the game with Winterfest 2023.

- Crash Pad Jr. x3: 150 Gold
10. Boxy
You can find the NPC named Boxy in the isolated house at the top of the Ritzy Riviera. Unfortunately, we can’t recruit her to our team.

11. Starr Oakley
Starr Oakley can be found on the remote island at the bottom of the map. We can’t recruit him to our team, but she does provide some benefits.

12. Dara
You can find the Dara NPC in the house between Fencing Fields and Hazy Hillside in Fortnite Chapter 5. She is a Medic Specialist, so she is very useful.

- Shield Breaker EMP x3: 150 Gold
13. Silas Hesk
You can find Silas Hesk at the top of the amphitheater in Ruined Reels. A decent option to get a Shield.

14. Solid Snake
You can find Solid Snake on the island located above the Lavish Lair in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. He is a Scout Specialist, so he will be very useful if you get him.

- EMP Stealth Camo: 100 Gold
15. April O’Neil
You can find April O’Neil in the building with the helipad between Classy Courts and Grand Glacier. However, you cannot include her in your team.

16. Snowheart
Snowheart is located in a a melting glacier in the snowy part of the map. When you get to the location above, go to the pier in the lake and you will see Snowheart there.

- FlowBerry Fizz: 150 Gold
17. Master Splinter
Master Splinter is located in the Underground HQ, also known as the Lair. It is located under the ground, the same location as Vengeance Jones. So if you know where he is, you can easily find Master Splinter.

18. Lana Llane
Lana Llane located in a house in the forest very close to Rebel’s Roost. Since there are no other houses around Rebel’s Roost, it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

19. Odyssey
Odyssey NPC is found in Ruined Reels with Silas Hesk in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. You can find her right at the top of the amphitheatre.

20. Sonor
Sonor is located in a factory-like black building on the top right of the map.
