Pal Gear is one of the most useful things the player can begin crafting in Palworld once the table becomes unlocked. It’s a type of item that can serve numerous purposes, from traversal to combat and more. Not every Pal has access to its own special Pal Gear, though, and some of it becomes available at unexpected levels, which is only further complicated by the fact that the technology tree won’t show the player when Pal Gear is unlocked until the Pal in question has been obtained. Having a comprehensive list of all Pal Gear in Palworld and when it becomes available can be helpful for planning ahead in the game.
Pal Gear can effectively be broken down into a number of categories: Saddles, Gloves, Guns, and Accessories.
Saddles
Saddles are undoubtedly the most numerous Pal Gear type in Palworld. Starting at level 6, the player unlocks one, if not two, every level straight through 49. The purpose of saddles is pretty self-explanatory, they allow the player to ride on a Pal, whether that be on land or in the air.

Gloves
Gloves are a pretty interesting type of Pal Gear in Palworld that can serve multiple functions. On certain Pals, like Celaray and Killamari, having the gloves allows the player to use those Pals as a glider if they’re present in the party. For Pals like Jolthog and Jolthog Cryst, though, the gloves are a battle item that allows them to throw shock or ice grenades when activated.
- Celaray’s Gloves (Level 7)
- Jolthog’s Gloves (Level 8)
- Killamari’s Gloves (Level 9)
- Jolthog Cryst’s Gloves (Level 11)
- Tocotoco’s Gloves (Level 18)
- Hangyu’s Gloves (Level 20)
- Galeclaw’s Gloves (Level 23)
- Hangyu Cryst’s Gloves (Level 31)
Guns
Guns are obviously the most viral type of Pal Gear in Palworld. Ever since the early development of this game, shots of Tanzee wielding its assault rifle or Grizzbolt with its minigun have circulated around the internet. It’s definitely a lot of fun, although there is a bit of work to be done on accuracy as the game develops through Early Access since a lot of the Pals with gun Pal Gear tend to waste a lot of their ability time shooting off at nothing.
- Lifmunk’s Submachine Gun (Level 11)
- Tanzee’s Assault Rifle (Level 12)
- Pengullet’s Rocket Launcher (Level 17)
- Mossanda’s Grenade Launcher (Level 24)
- Mossanda Lux’s Grenade Launcher (Level 25)
- Grizzbolt’s Minigun (Level 40)
- Relaxasaurus’ Missile Launcher (Level 44)
- Relaxasaurus Lux’s Missile Launcher (Level 46)
- Jetragon’s Missile Launcher (Level 50)
Accessories
Accessories are the smallest Pal Gear type in the Palworld and the first the player will stop unlocking, with the last accessory getting unlocked at just level 22. It’s unfortunate there aren’t more accessory types in the game since they can do some pretty interesting things, like allowing the player to wield Foxparks like a flamethrower or to have Daedream and Dazzi as backup battlers on top of your active battling Pal.
- Foxparks’ Harness (Level 6)
- Daedream’s Necklace (Level 8)
- Flopie’s Necklace (Level 17)
- Digitoise’s Headband (Level 19)
- Dazzi’s Necklace (Level 22)
