The latest expansion of Sea of Thieves, Legend of Monkey Island Tall Tale 1, the Journey to Melee Island requires you to find Pieces of o’Eight as many as possible to complete it. This might be tricky if you do not know where to look for them. So, let’s look at where to find all Pieces of o’Eight locations in Sea of Thieves.
You will find these Pieces of o’Eight locations in scattered Sea of Thieves in various locations on the island, and you can collect around 200 of them in total. However, at the beginning, you can gather about 55 coins. Below are all the Pieces of o’Eight locations.
- At the Dock
- Stealing from Lookout
- Around the Scum Bar
- Inside Scum Bar
- On the curved road
- Inside the Church
- In the Jail
- Inside Kitchen
- Stealing from Drunken Pirates
- Pirates
- Inside Clock Tower
- Inside Mansion
At the Dock
When you start from the Dock, there is one crate to the right, and at the far corner, there will be another two crates and one coin at the top of the barrel. Once you turn the right path, the building has another crate to the right. Then you will find another coin on the top of the barrel. There will be another location with a crate inside Pieces of o’Eight at the back of the small shack in Sea of Thieves.
Stealing From Lookout
Then head up to the mountain and steal from Lookout, giving him the answer, “Look out there, I see a ship.”
Around the Scum Bar
You will find three crates and one coin on the top of a barrel around the Scum Bar.
Inside Scum Bar
Once you get inside the Scum Bar, you can steal some of the coins from the pirate on the right table who has already passed out.
On the Curved Road
Leave the Scum Bar and follow the curved road to the clock tower, and you can find three crates and two coins on top of each barrel until you reach the church. Also, you will find three crates and one Piece of O’Eight on the top of the barrel in the location right to the church in Sea of Thieves.
Inside the Church
There will be six benches on each side of the church, and you can find one coin on the top of a bench. Then there will be some coins on the left side cupboards, and search inside the cupboards on both sides to find the rest of the coins.
In the Jail
Search the cupboard to the left at the entrance door and get another bag of Pieces of o’Eight.
Searching in these locations will get all Pieces of o’Eight in Sea of Thieves without the game progression. To collect the rest, you have to progress through the game.
Inside Kitchen
You will find other Pieces of Eight locations in Sea of Thieves inside the kitchen cupboard once you purchase the chef’s uniform and return to the kitchen.
Stealing from Drunken Pirates
Then fill Two Pirates Tankard, who needs to drink three times with Extra Potent Grog, and they will pass out. Then you can steal their Pieces of o’Eight.
Getting From Walt
Once you prepare Root Beer Stewed Meat and give it to Piranha Poodles, they will eliminate Walt, and you can grab his Pieces of o’Eight on top of the barrel.
Inside Clock Tower
Once you unlock the clock tower, another bag of coins will be on the table near the clock.
Inside Mansion
Once you enter the mansion, one bag of coins will be on the table and another on the small stand at the right of the staircase. Then when you enter the Guybrush’s room, look inside the cupboard to the right to find some Pieces of o’Eightt. Then the last coins will be inside his bedroom cupboard once Guybrush passes out.
Players can find all Pieces of o’Eight locations in Sea of Thieves by diligently following these steps and exploring these areas. Remember, the key is a keen eye and persistence – these coins can be found in the most unsuspected places.
