The little red orbs known as Summoning Materia bring out powerful beings that aid you in battles. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth brings back a ton of series favorites that you can easily earn as you play. Unfortunately, there are some Summon Materia that are locked behind preorder bonuses. However, you’re still able to obtain all of the other ones in the game itself, as carried over data from Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7: Remake Integrade’s Episode INTERmission.
All FF7 Rebirth Summon Materia
In total, you can obtain the Titan Materia, Phoenix Materia, Alexander Materia, Kujata Materia, Bahamut Materia, Odin Materia, Shiva Materia, Ifrit Materia, Chocobo and Moogle Materia, Ramuh Materia, Leviathan Materia, and Magic Pot Materia in FF7 Remake. Each one can be put on any of your party members in the Main Menu. As explained above, some Summon Materia are locked to preorder bonuses, and it is unclear if they will be able to be acquired otherwise.
Titan Materia
Titan deals a large amount of non-elemental damage with repeated attacks. Its Ultimate Attack, Earthen Fury, deals a massive amount of non-elemental magic damage. It deals a large amount of ice damage with repeated attacks that only get more powerful whenever it uses Diamond Dust. The Materia cannot gain levels beyond the first one, meaning you can only summon her to aid you in battle.
Ifrit Materia
Ifrit is another Summon Materia that is automatically given to you. He is attached to Red XIII but can be used by any of the party members. It deals a large amount of fire damage both by itself and by using its Ultimate Attack, Hellfire. Like Shiva, you cannot level it up beyond the first level. You’re only able to summon it in battle throughout the entirety of your playthrough.
Chocobo and Moogle Materia
The Chocobo and Moogle Materia are attached to Cloud at the beginning of the game. It’s fitting since he looks so much like a Chocobo himself. This Summon also cannot gain levels.
