Remnant 2 has quite a few features similar to the Souls-like genre. However, one of the biggest differences is the Difficulty Levels. Luckily, you don’t have to worry that you will beat the game too easily choosing the easiest Difficulty Level. Gunfire Games put a lot of effort into balancing out the Difficulty Levels. And even playing with SurvivorDifficulty, you will get an unforgettable experience. In total, the game has 4 Difficulty Levels. Each of the following greatly enhances your opponents.

Difficulty Level Exp Mobs HP Mobs DMG Boss HP Boss DMG Description
Survivor 100% 100% 100% 100% 100% A solid starting point for most players.
Veteran 115% 150% 165% 165% 165% A more demanding experience with tougher and deadlier enemies. An excellent choice for players that enjoy a challenge.
Nightmare 130% 250% 350% 312.5% 262% Ruthlessly brutal. Designed for fully geared players with strong builds and a desire for an unforgiving experience. Not recommended as a starting point.
Apocalypse 150% 275% 450% 412% 405% Good Luck

It’s also worth noting that at the beginning of Remnant 2, only the first three Difficulty Levels are available to you. You will only unlock the last one, Apocalypse by beating the game once. And you can do it on any of the Difficulties.

How To Change Difficulty Level in Remnant 2

You can change the Difficulty Level at any time. To do this, you just need to interact with the world stone. However, you must keep in mind that changing the Difficulty Level will completely erase your progress in this World. However, your character and equipment will remain with you.
