The Schematics in MW3 Zombies – MWZ is a new way of having crafting tools before starting the match. In your inventory menu, you can now have items, soda perks, and even two wonder weapons that are ready to be crafted and used in your next match. As long as you have the blueprint of these items, you can craft them any time you want! It’s like having a Ray Gun at the start of the match. However, unlocking the schematics in MWZ Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has a trick, and here’s how you can do it for every blueprint in the game.
All MW3 Zombies Schematics in MWZ
(Updated on August 13, 2024 – updated links and format)
The Schematics in MWZ are branched into four different categories: The Aetherium, Perk-A-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Wonder Weapons. Here are all the items within each category and how to unlock them.
Aetherium
- Uncommon Aetherium Tool
- Rare Aetherium Tool
- Epic Aetherium Tool
- Raw Aetherium Crystal
- Refined Aetherium Crystal
The Aetherium tools are for weapon upgrades in MW3 Zombies. You’ll find these as rewards in the Aether chests, which can be easily found inside the Aether Nests and Strongholds. There’s no particular location to see each of these tools or weapons, however, but completing the missions inside the level 2 and 3 threat zones might grant you the schematics of these items.
The Aetherium Tools will upgrade your weapon’s rarity, which is then reset after each match. Using the Aetherium Crystals, however, will level up your weapon like using a Pack A Punch machine. The Raw Aetherium Crystal will upgrade your weapon to level 1 Pack A Punch. In contrast, the Refined Aetherium will upgrade it to level 2. The level three upgrade remains inside the high-threat zone in MWZ, and you can not obtain any schematics for it.
Perk-A-Colas
- Deadshot Daiquiri – Assist you in shooting the enemy’s critical locations.
- Death Perception – Helps you see targets through walls.
- Elemental Pop – Activates a random Ammo Mod while shooting.
- Jugger-Nog – Increases your maximum health.
- PHD Flopper – Triggers an explosion after you dive, and you won’t get any fall damage by diving.
- Quick Revive – Helps you revive your teammates faster and quickly regenerate health.
- Speed Cola – Reload and replate armor faster.
- Stamin-Up – Move faster while running and sprinting.
- Tombstone Soda – In case you die, it drops a tombstone right where you died with all your inventory items in it. You can pick them up in the next match.
Perk-A-Colas schematics in MW3 Zombies can also be found in level 2 threat zones. However, the deeper you go and do contracts in the higher threat zones, the better the rewards. There are actually some tricks to farm schematics by completing the cargo delivery contracts in level 3 zones, which I’ve described at the end of this guide.
Ammo Mods
- Napalm Burst
- Brain Riot
- Cryo Freeze
- Dead Wire
- Shatter Blast
The Ammo Mods are the elemental powers that you can apply to your weapons. Each weapon can have 1 elemental power. After applying it to your weapon, you can activate it by just shooting the enemy targets.
Wonder Weapons
- Ray Gun
- Wunderwaffe DG-2
Introduced in the Call of Duty: World At War, Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 are the first wonder weapons of the Zombies mode. And now, after a long time, they’ve made a return in the MWZ, where, this time, you can craft these items with schematics! However, these schematics are super rare in MW3 Zombies. But no worries, as you can unlock them easily by doing the steps below; it only takes time and luck on which schematics you unlock first in MWZ.
How To Farm Schematics in MW3 Zombies
The easiest way to unlock schematics in MW3 Zombies is currently by doing Cargo Delivery missions. In fact, making contracts is the only way you can unlock the MWZ schematics. But other contracts involve hard work dealing with high-level zombies, and you might die during the process. In this guide, I’ll show you how to exfil with at least one schematic in your backpack without even needing to fight any zombies in MW3 Zombies!
Remember, in order for the trick to work, you need to start the match with the following rules:
- You must do this solo with no teammates to pick and cancel contracts.
- You need to empty one of your weapon slots to run faster with bare hands.
- Bring a Decoy Grenade or Cymbal Monkey to distract zombies.
- Find a Cargo Delivery contract.
Locate a Cargo Delivery contract in the high-threat red zone. If there aren’t any, just pick the Escort The Cargo contract and cancel it by pressing Y/Triangle.
- Pick the contract and escape.
Pick the contract, and run away from zombies by climbing buildings and moving faster bare-handed.
- Use a vehicle to flee.
Pick the target car and drive away to reach the destination marked on your HUD.
- Complete the contract.
Finish the contract and open the rift for rewards.
- Wait for the Cargo Delivery again or exfil.
You can exit the level 3 threat zone and wait for the Cargo Delivery contract to pop up again so that you can pick it up once more. Or you can exfil and save your schematics in MW3 Zombies.
This is the fastest and easiest way to farm schematics and rewards in MW3 Zombies – MWZ, and you’ll be able to achieve many rare items by repeating the steps above. However, remember to exfil fast if you obtained the Ray Gun schematics!
