If you were a child in the during the 90s odds are good that you spent a lot of time watching Nickelodeon. One of Nickelodeon’s most popular TV programs was the sketch comedy created for kids, All That. During it’s run All That launched the careers for some of its actors including Amanda Bynes or Kenan Thompson. While Amanda Bynes has been out of the spotlight for a while Kenan Thompson continues do sketch comedy with SNL.
Nickelodeon released a video featuring primary cast members Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg, Josh Server, and Danny Tamberelli announcing a reunion of the former All That cast. The twenty-second video shows the original cast on the familiar signature orange couch getting excited about the upcoming reunion on The Splat. While no new content was given, plenty of clips from each of the cast members more renowned characters were shown.
The Splat is a block of programming that focuses on 90’s Nickelodeon reruns. If you watched Nickelodeon as a kid you are familiar with how Nick at Night would show on Nickelodeon, this is the same concept. Nickelodeon made the block to cater to the now adults who grew up with Nickelodeon programming and want to relive their childhoods. It only makes sense that an All That reunion would air on this type of programming block.
