As you create your Starfield character, there are numerous traits to choose from that add more experience to the game. Traits are an optional feature in the game. However, they’re fun to play around with, so you can build a unique character with each subsequent playthrough. You can get rid of them if you don’t like them, though. Let’s go through all the available traits and discover how they work.
All Starfield Character Traits
Starfield offers 17 character traits you can choose during the creation process. You can only select 3 of these for your character. Again, they are totally optional. Also, you can visit a Reliant Medical Surgery center to remove them or complete a unique mission for that trait that will do the same thing. Getting rid of them is permanent.
If you decide on traits, you get specific modifiers that can alter how you play the game. Below are all 17 traits you can choose from in Starfield.
Alien DNA Starfield Trait
- Positive Modifier: Live the life of a lab rat in your past and increase your oxygen and health.
- Negative Modifier: The experiment comes at a cost as healing items like food and med packs are not as effective.
