Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 2 kicks off to a solid start with new locations and POIs, fun gear, and exciting quests. However, many classic aspects remain like the Upgrade Bench. With an Upgrade Bench, you can upgrade certain weapons and improve their stats. You have to find one first though, and with some of the map changes, we understand why you might struggle to track them down. Our guide is here to help you discover all Upgrade Bench locations on the new Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 2 map.

Introduced back in Chapter 2: Season 1, Upgrade Benches are places where players can instantly upgrade some weapons. This improvement increases their stats, ideal if you have looted a rather low-grade weapon. They upgrade based on the following output:

  • Common –> Uncommon: 200 Gold
  • Uncommon –> Rare: 300 Gold
  • Rare –> Epic: 400 Gold
  • Epic –> Legendary: 500 Gold

So, be sure that you have the Gold on hand before you track down any Upgrade Bench locations in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 2.

Now that we know what you need, let’s find these Benches.

As of now, there are 13 Upgrade Benches throughout the map. They are at all corners of the map. So, no matter where you land, you should be able to find one.
