You’ll encounter multiple dead drop locations scattered across the Vondelย DMZ map. Specific dead drops are involved in certain missions, while others can be used for any delivery-related objective. However, sometimes finding these dumpsters like theย Phalanx dead dropย is tricky. That’s why we want to show you exactly where these locations are and how you can find all the dead drops in Vondel. How Many Dead Drop Locations Does Vondel Map Have in DMZ?
There are a total of 5 dead drops in Vondel while playing the DMZ mode. Needless to say, these dead drops have been placed in separate locations. You can see each dead drop’s site below.
Museum Dead Drop
This dead drop in DMZ is one that most players often ignore. Some players have yet to find this one, but it’s relatively easy to locate. The Museum dead drop is in the location by the same name on the Vondel DMZ map. When you reach the south entrance of the Museum, you’ll find a parking entrance. This is where you can enter and turn left to find this dead drop. This particular dumpster may not be of use that much in Season 4. However, there’ll probably be some missions in the future updates to highlight the Museum dead drop for an objective.
Vondel Zoo Dead Drop
You know this location well if you’re doing missions for the Phalanx faction. But if not, here are the coordinates in the image above. The Zoo dead drop in the Vondel DMZ map is on the left side of this area. You can find the Zoo and Aquarium POI in the southwest of the Vondel map. Knowing where the Zoo dead drop is crucial for many DMZ missions, such as theย Long Distance DMZ task.
Fire Dept. Dead Drop
This area is always hot and filled with angry AI units. They don’t care which faction you serve and only take orders from the Gold Eagle, AKA General Shephard. Shadow Company soldiers are always patrolling this area. If you run down the alleys to the north section of this location, you’ll find the dead drop.
Vondel University Dead Drop
It comes with the name; the University Dead Drop location is beside the University POI in Vondel. Look for the University on your map and zoom in. You’ll find some buildings nearby this location, and there you can find the dead drop between them. But pay close attention when getting close to the University dead drop. There are always tons of enemy forces in this place, and it is usually covered by radiation! Use gas masks and radiation blockers to stay alive.
Castle – Phalanx DD
Finally, here’s the last one of the Vondel dead drops on our list โ the Phalanx dead drop. This dumpster belongs to the Phalanx faction. You’ll have to find this location while completing the Icebreaker DMZ faction mission. The area is not crowded by enemy targets, but its located on one of the routes the Bullfrog commander takes. It is also located below the Castle POI, so it is sometimes called the Castle dead drop.
