Weapon changes in Warzone 2 Season 4 feature nerfs of a few weapons and a massive buff for some others. These game balance updates are always around when a Season arrives, and S4 is not an exception. Here in this post, you’ll find the most buffed weapons to use as the new meta. And you can also avoid the red ones highlighted as the nerfed weapons. Let’s begin with all the buffed weapons in Warzone 2 Season 4.
What Are The Buffed Weapons in Warzone 2 Season 4
Expedite 12:
- Minimum damage increased
- Leg multiplier increased
KV Broadside:
- Mid-range damage increased
Bryson 800:
- Minimum damage decreased
- Head multiplier increased
- Neck multiplier increased
- Upper torso multiplier increased
- Arm multiplier increased
- Leg multiplier increased
Bryson 890:
- Minimum damage decreased
- Head multiplier increased
- Neck multiplier increased
- Upper torso multiplier increased
- Arm multiplier increased
- Leg multiplier increased
Lockwood 300:
- Minimum damage decreased
- Head multiplier increased
- Neck multiplier increased
- Upper torso multiplier increased
- Arm multiplier increased
- Leg multiplier increased
- Hip to ADS speed increased
- ADS accuracy increased
- Mid-range damage range increased
Fennec 45:
- Bullets to kill decreased by 1
As you can see, buffed weapon changes in Warzone 2 Season 4 target many shotguns. If you’re a shotgun player, you can have fun playing with the Bryson brothers or pick an Expedite 12 with Dragon Breath ammo to burn the enemies.
Aside from the shotguns, though, the Fennec 45 also has a very minimal buff here. You can kill enemies faster with this weapon now, but it is only the difference of one bullet. With the high fire rate of this SMG, it’s hard to notice this weapon’s changes in Warzone 2 Season 4.
All Nerfed Weapon Changes in Warzone 2
Cronen Squall:
- Bullets to kill increased by 2
- Minimum damage decreased
- Maximum damage increased
- (In semi-auto mode) Bullets to kill increased by 1
- (In semi-auto mode) Maximum damage decreased
- (In semi-auto mode) Minimum damage increased
Looks like the Cronen Squall battle rifle fans are going to get mad after the installation of the Season 4 update. In this Season, nothing else is nerfed among the weapons but the Cronen Squall. This battle rifle was added in the previous Season, and it wasn’t a huge meta after all.
Now the nerfs for this weapon are all related to its damage value. Meaning that you will not be able to kill enemies like before with this rifle. Not only that, if you played with this rifle in semi-auto mode, it’s still a nerfed weapon. This mode had more damage back in the previous Season, and now it’s completely nerfed.
New Weapons and Attachments
Weapons:
- ISO 45 SMG
- Tempus Razorback AR
- Tonfa (melee)
Attachments:
- KSTV-17 barrel for Kastov-74u
- Ftac Siege Akimbo grip
The ISO 45 submachine gun and Tempus Razorback assault rifle are the new additions in Warzone 2 and MW2 Season 4. These are probably going to be the new meta, as it was the trend with the new weapons in the previous Seasons. Not to mention that they’re also banned in ranked matches.

For the weapon attachment changes in Warzone 2 Season 4, you can fashion a new barrel on the Kastov-74u now. This barrel will unlock at level 9 for this AR, and if you have already leveled up this weapon, you should have it right away after the update. Aside from this barrel, you can now have two Ftac Siege pistols in your hands.
The Akimbo attachment is a grip that doubles your pistol. Now you couldn’t add this to the newly added Ftac Siege back in Season 3 Reloaded, and it is now available to grab in Season 4. This grip will unlock by getting 25 hip-fire kills with the Ftac Siege sidearm.
