Mad Max and Fallout fans rejoice: Fortnite is taking us to every salvager’s favorite landscape in Chapter 5, Season 3, alongside many weekly quests tailored to make the most out of this season’s new features. Whether you want to equip your car with deadly modifications, do some headbanging at a Thunderdome-like structure, or just blast enemies with a laser gun, you’ll find many things to do over the next few weeks. As always, we’ll update this guide weekly with the new quests that arrive. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at your weekly quest list.
(Updated on August 9, 2024 – Added all the quests for Week 11).
Week 0 Quests
Quest | Amount | Experience Points |
---|---|---|
Fully Refuel or Repair a vehicle | 1 | 15,000 |
Deal Explosive damage to opponents | 250 | 15,000 |
Visit Redline Rig, Brutal Beachhead, and Nitrodrome | 3 | 15,000 |
Destroy objects while in a vehicle | 150 | 15,000 |
Travel distance while boosting | 2,000 | 15,000 |
Fully Refuel of Repair a Vehicle
The easiest way to complete one of the first weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, is by heading to any of the new service stations. You can find them easily on your map by looking at the gas station-like icons and parking your car on the platform. Stay there until it’s fully refueled or repaired.
Deal Explosive Damage to Opponents
The easiest way to complete this challenge is by installing any of the new vehicle mods. When I did it, I landed near the Nitrodrome, grabbed a vehicle, and headed to one of the workshops that had mods around. I grabbed the launcher and started blasting. It took me three rounds to achieve it, but if you have better aim than I do, you might finish this quest in one match.
Visit Redline Rig, Brutal Beachhead, and Nitrodrome
This one is pretty straightforward: you must visit the season’s new locations. If you go to your quest menu, you can track this mission, and the areas will appear on the map. If you want more guidance, we have attached an image above so you can see where the locations are.
Destroy Objects While in a Vehicle
You can complete this one while doing the second quest on the list, which is damaging enemies with explosive damage, that’s assuming you have the rocket launcher. While shooting other players, you can create a bit of extra havoc and damage structures around you. If there aren’t other opponents around, just start wrecking buildings by driving through them.
Travel Distance by Boosting
If you’re fast enough to grab a car, you can finish this quest in one match. The easiest way to do this is by grabbing those sports vehicles and following the road. You can boost as much as you want and, if needed, refuel at the service stations.
Week 1
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Restore health or gain shields with Slurp Cactus | 300 | 15,000 |
Eliminate players using a weapon with a scope mod | 3 | 15,000 |
Damage opponents with Nitro Fists | 400 | 15,000 |
Defeat Megalo Don, The Machinist, or Ringmaster Scar | 3 | 15,000 |
Enter a car from the roof | 1 | 15,000 |
Restore Health or Gain Shields With Slurp Cactus
The fastest way to do this is by heading to the small area between Sandy Steppes and Brutal Beachhead. You’ll see a few small islets with many Slurp Cactus. Depending on how much damage you take, you might have to do this quest in one or two matches.
Eliminate Players Using a Weapon With a Scope Mode
This one is easier said than done, but if you have a good aim and manage to find a weapon with a scope mode, you can finish this quest in one round. Since you need three players for the objective, your best bet is to land at any of the landmarks, start looting, and blast anyone you see with the necessary gun.
Damage Opponents With Nitro Fists
Thankfully, you don’t need to focus on players for this quest. You can finish this mission by damaging any of the enemy NPCs on the map with Nitro Fists. Finding the weapon might be the real challenge, but once you have the firsts, head to Brutal Beachhead and start smashing those NPCs.
Defeat Megalo Don, The Machinist, or Ringmaster Scar
The quest might be a bit confusing but don’t think you have to beat all three enemies. You can actually defeat one boss three times to finish this mission. The easiest one to defeat is The Machinist. To do so, you need to locate him as he drives around the map. You can land on the truck behind him, take out the grunts, and use the weapon emplacements to defeat him. Do this three times to finish the quest.
Enter a Car From the Roof
Probably the easiest weekly quest in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, and one you can finish as soon as you land. Just locate a car, mantle over it, and enter it as you stand on its roof. Yes, it is that easy.
Week 2
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Damage players with pistols | 500 | 15,000 |
Drive or Ride In Megalo Don’s Behemoth, the Machinist’s Lockjaw, Ringmaster’s Lockjaw, or a War Bus | 1 | 15,000 |
Mod a vehicle with a Cow Catcher or a Spiked Bumper | 2 | 15,000 |
Damage opponents in a vehicle | 100 | 15,000 |
Repair vehicles with Service Stations or Repair Torches | 500 | 15,000 |
Damage Players With Pistols
Luckily, pistols are some of the most common weapons you’ll find in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, thus making this one of the easiest weekly quests. Chances are you’ll find any of these weapons as soon as you land, so when you have one, start blasting.
Drive or Ride In Megalo Don’s Behemoth, the Machinist’s Lockjaw, Ringmaster’s Lockjaw, or a War Bus
Since you should already know the locations of these bosses from Week 2, all you have to do is defeat them, their grunts, and steal their rides. Make sure to defeat other players around first, though.
Mod a Vehicle With a Cow Catcher or a Spiked Bumper
The Cow Catcher and Spiked Bumper make a triumphant return for this season, so once you have one, all you have to do is equip your vehicles with them. There are higher chances of finding these items at Service Stations and certain buildings near the road.
Damage Opponents in a Vehicle
Depending on how good or bad you are at driving, this might take more than one round. One easy but risky way to do this is by grabbing a vehicle and driving inside a landmark where you’ll likely find other players. Also, since the quest only says opponents, you can also damage NPCs for this to work.
Repair Vehicles With Service Stations or Repair Torches
If you’re doing all these quests in one sitting, you can do the above one and this at the same time. Run over some players or NPCs, and chances are they’ll shoot at you. After that, take the vehicle to a Service Station to get it fixed. Alternatively, you can cheese this quest by crashing your car in all directions and then fixing it.
Week 3
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Repair a vehicle with the Repair Torch | 1 | 15,000 |
Destroy Nitro Barrels with a Vehicle | 10 | 15,000 |
Restore Health | 200 | 15,000 |
Eliminate Wasteland Guards or Bosses | 15 | 15,000 |
Collect Bars from Eliminated Players | 300 | 15,000 |
Repair a vehicle with the Repair Torch
If you missed the weekly quests of Week 2 in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, you can take out two missions with one stone. Smash your car and then fix it, but only with a Repair Torch. You might find these items near Service Stations or randomly at chests.
Destroy Nitro Barrels with a Vehicle
You’ll find most Nitro Barrels on the side of the road. All you have to do is run them over and wait for them to explode. This quest is quite easy, as long as you do it after landing and before other players start knocking these barrels over.
Restore Health
Self-explanatory. Lost health and then restore it with whatever item you prefer.
Eliminate Wasteland Guards or Bosses
You should already know where most enemy NPCs are. But if you want to finish this quest fast, head to any of the boss locations and shoot the grunts first. We recommend doing that instead of focusing solely on the boss because you’ll get overwhelmed.
Collect Bars from Eliminated Players
You can finish this quest in two ways: defeat players and loot their bodies, or wait for someone to eliminate players and steal those bars from them. We don’t judge you if you prefer to go all vulture on player’s corpses.
Week 4
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Jam at a Named Location | 1 | 15,000 |
Apply Mods to Different Vehicles | 3 | 15,000 |
Deal Damage to or Take Damage from a Warbus | 250 | 15,000 |
Collect Rare or Better Items | 30 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents with the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle | 1,000 | 15,000 |
Jam at a Named Location
The first weekly quest of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, Week 4 is quite easy. You just need to head to any of the map’s POIs and use the Jam emote located inside your emote wheel. Remember to look out for enemy players first, though.
Apply Mods to Different Vehicles
If you know where to find vehicles, you might do this in a match. If not, the easiest way is to land at Brutal Beachhead, drive to the Service Station north of it, and equip one of the mods around it. Alternatively, you can drive inside this landmark, which also contains many vehicle mods.
Deal Damage to or Take Damage from a Warbus
The fastest way to do this mission is by landing near The Machinist and shooting at his bus. You might have to defeat the grunts first, but once you do, it’s an open road to take out that vehicle. It’s certainly easier than waiting for them to damage you. Unless you prefer that for whatever reason.
Collect Rare or Better Items
Self-explanatory. Keep opening chests and scouring the map until you find items of this rarity and above.
Damage Opponents with the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle
If you don’t want to rely on luck to obtain this gun, head west from Mount Olympus and speak with the Fallout NPC to get the weapon. After that, start blasting anyone you see with it.
Week 5
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Use Nitro Splash in a Vehicle | 1 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents While in a Vehicle | 200 | 15,000 |
Emote While Attached With a Tow Hook Cannon | 1 | 15,000 |
Collect Weapons From Eliminated Opponents | 10 | 15,000 |
Damage Players Using Epic or Better Weapons | 500 | 15,000 |
Use Nitro Splash in a Vehicle
Once you find the Nitro Splash item, locate a vehicle and enter it through the passenger’s side. Once inside, equip the Nitro Splash and use it to complete the quest.
Damage Opponents While in a Vehicle
Regardless of the mod you equip your vehicle with, all you have to do is damage opponents while inside a car. The choice is yours, so feel free to wreak havoc as you see fit.
Emote While Attached With a Tow Hook Cannon
This is one of the few Tow Hook Cannon quests you can do alone. Once you find the item, locate a car and shoot at it while equipping the cannon. Once you’re hooked, head to your emote wheel and start emoting; it is as simple as that.
Collect Weapons From Eliminated Opponents
After defeating players, make sure to loot what they have. It doesn’t matter if you drop the weapons afterward. As soon as you loot them, it’ll count for the objective.
Damage Players Using Epic or Better Weapons
Dust off those purple and gold weapons and start blasting players. It’ll take a while to find items of this rarity, but once you have a few, start damaging players.
Week 6
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Travel While Attached to a Vehicle With a Tow Hook Cannon | 250 | 15,000 |
Knockback Vehicles With Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle | 3 | 15,000 |
Mod Weapons at a Mod Bench | 4 | 15,000 |
Capture Loot Island or Storm Forecast Tower | 3 | 15,000 |
Collect Ammo | 1,500 | 15,000 |
Travel While Attached to a Vehicle With a Tow Hook Cannon
We recommend doing this weekly quest as a duo, so get ready to invite your friends to play in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3. Once you find the Tow Hook Cannon, attach it to a car and have your friend drive. You can then switch places to help them with the objective.
Knockback Vehicles With Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle
This quest requires an almost perfect aim and a lot of luck. You first need to find the Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle and then find a good vantage spot where you can see cars passing by. It is a bit situational, but with a bit of luck, you might be able to finish this mission soon.
Mod Weapons at a Mod Bench
The fastest albeit riskiest way to do this quest is by heading to any of the floating islands that pop on the map, capturing it, and then using the Mod Bench inside them. Assuming you have enough gold bars, you might be able to mod all weapons in one go.
Capture Loot Island or Storm Forecast Tower
Speaking of floating islands, you can wait until the third Storm Circle and locate Loot Island once it spawns randomly on the map. Alternatively, you can drive around the map, locate a Storm Forecast Tower, defeat the NPCs around it, and capture it.
Collect Ammo
It’s an extremely easy quest, and you’ll likely finish it in one match. Open chests and ammo boxes and loot all the ammo you see when exploring.
Week 7
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Mod a Vehicle With Off-Road Tires or Bulletproof Tires | 1 | 15,000 |
Fire Shots | 500 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents or Vehicles While Attached With a Tow Hook Cannon | 750 | 15,000 |
Eliminate Opponents Using a Weapon With a Barrel Mod | 10 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents Beyond 25 Meters | 200 | 15,000 |
Mod a Vehicle With Off-Road Tires or Bulletproof Tires
Similar to other quests involving modding cars. Head to any Service Station and start looting until you find any of these tires. Equip your vehicle with either and hit the road.
Fire Shots
Again, one of the easiest weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3. Since the quest doesn’t specify you have to land those shots, you can go trigger-happy and shoot in all directions. This might reveal your position, but it’s worth it for a bit of experience, right?
Damage Opponents or Vehicles While Attached With a Tow Hook Cannon
You’ll likely need to do this mission with a friend. Attach yourself to a vehicle with the Tow Hook Cannon and ask your friend to drive around while you shoot. You could try to do this solo by attaching yourself to a parked car and shooting players, but you’ll be a sitting duck.
Eliminate Opponents Using a Weapon With a Barrel Mod
Head to any mod bench and equip any barrel mod on whatever weapon you have. After that, use that gun to damage players. Shotguns and ARs are great for this quest.
Damage Opponents Beyond 25 Meters
Assuming you have a scoped weapon and a good aim, you can find a good vantage point at any POI and start shooting enemies. Since the quest says opponents, NPCs count for this mission, too.
Week 8
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Eliminate Players With Pistols or SMGs | 4 | 15,000 |
Mod a Vehicle Within 60 Seconds of Landing From the Bus | 1 | 15,000 |
Search Chests | 25 | 15,000 |
Hit Different Opponents With Nitro Fists in a Single Match | 3 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents With Shotguns | 1,000 | 15,000 |
Eliminate Players With Pistols or SMGs
If you want to finish this quest, I strongly recommend sticking to SMGs. They shoot faster and are a bit easier to handle when firing. But if you feel like John Wick and all you need is a pistol, go ahead.
Mod a Vehicle Within 60 Seconds of Landing From the Bus
I finished this quest by landing on the road north of Brutal Beachhead, which usually has a car on it. After that, I drove to the Service Station down the road and equipped a mod. It was all under 60 seconds, so you can try that as well for this mission.
Search Chests
Self-explanatory. Land on the map, open chests, and reap that experience.
Hit Different Opponents With Nitro Fists in a Single Match
You’ll likely find Nitro Fists at any of the boss locations in Fortnite. Luckily, the quests says opponents, so you know what that means: NPCs. Equip your new fists and start smashing those grunts.
Damage Opponents With Shotguns
The easiest way to complete this quest is by landing at a busy POI, like any of the new ones this season, running around until you equip a shotgun and start shooting.
Week 9
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Eliminate Opponents With the Combat Shotgun | 5 | 15,000 |
Outlast Players While Holding a Medallion | 30 | 15,000 |
Survive Storm Circles | 15 | 15,000 |
Emote at Brawler’s Battleground and Nitrodrome | 2 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents Using a Weapon With an Underbarrel Mod | 1,000 | 15,000 |
Eliminate Opponents With the Combat Shotgun
The real challenge is finding the combat shotgun, but once you have it, you can use it on NPCs to complete this objective.
Outlast Players While Holding a Medallion
The fastest way to finish this quest is by heading to where Ringmaster Scar is, defeating them, and grabbing the medallion. Once you have it, run around the map until you outlast the required players.
Survive Storm Circles
If you really want to cheese this quest, go and hide in any remote location on the map and camp there until you survive the necessary Storm Circles. It isn’t the bravest way, but it is the smartest, at least.
Emote at Brawler’s Battleground and Nitrodrome
Pretty straightforward. Head to these two locations and use any emote inside them. If you’re fast enough, you can visit both places in one match.
Damage Opponents Using a Weapon With an Underbarrel Mod
Since you should already know how to mod weapons due to previous weekly quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, all you have to do is equip an underbarrel mod and damage opponents with that gun.
Week 10
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Spend Bars on Character Sales or Services | 400 | 15,000 |
Eliminate Players With the Combat AR | 4 | 15,000 |
Gain Shields | 300 | 15,000 |
Mantle or Hurdle in Different Named Locations | 6 | 15,000 |
Damage Opponents’ Vehicles With Ranged or Explosive Weapons | 600 | 15,000 |
Spend Bars on Character Sales or Services
At this moment of the season, you should already have enough gold bars to spend. Find any of the many NPCs on the map and use your currency to hire them or buy the items they sell.
Eliminate Players With the Combat AR
Again, the big challenge of this quest is finding the specific weapon, but once it is in your hands, start killing your foes.
Gain Shields
There are many ways to gain shields in this season, so pick your poison, or rather, slurp and shield away!
Mantle or Hurdle in Different Named Locations
To finish this objective quickly, land on any named POI and start mantling around. People will look at you funny, but you’ll have more experience points than them.
Damage Opponents’ Vehicles With Ranged or Explosive Weapons
Lastly, this quest is quite easy as you can use explosive vehicle mods or any weapon for that matter. If you spot someone driving a car, shoot them to work on this mission.
Week 11
Quest | Amount | Experience |
---|---|---|
Search containers at Redline Rig, Brutal Beachhead, or Nitrodrome | 5 | 15,000 |
Travel distance in vehicles or attached to one with a Tow Hook Cannon | 1,500 | 15,000 |
Damage opponents with an Epic or better weapon | 500 | 15,000 |
Launch through Flaming Boost Hoops | 5 | 15,000 |
Headshot enemy players with scoped weapons | 3 | 15,000 |
Search Containers at Redline Rig, Brutal Beachhead, or Nitrodrome
This is quite easy, and you can do it during one match. Land on any of the abovementioned places and start looting containers. Chests, ammo boxes, and pretty much anything that contains loot will count for this quest.
Travel Distance in Vehicles or Attached to One With a Tow Hook Cannon
The quest might sound a bit confusing, but you don’t need the Tow Hook Cannon at all. As long as you travel 1,500 meters inside a car, you should complete the quest. You can land near the Nitrodrome and head to the road, which usually has a few vehicles for you to grab.
Damage Opponents With an Epic or Better Weapon
If you’re lucky enough to get an Epic weapon as soon as you land, just start blasting. You need to do a total of 500 damage to enemies. It doesn’t matter if you swap weapons. Just make sure they are of Epic quality or above.
Launch Through Flaming Boost Hoops
I know it’ll sound like I’m fixated on the Nitrodome, but if you land near it, you can find vehicles and a few Flaming Boost Hoops. You can use the same one for the quest. So, jump through it, land, backtrack to the hoop, and jump again. Do this five times.
Headshot Enemy Players With Scoped Weapons
This might be one of the hardest quests of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, especially because it depends on the player’s aim. There is really no easy way to do this unless you want to camp in a certain spot, which is something I’m not a fan of. You can land on a crowded spot and quietly follow players until they start looting something to take them by surprise.
