Amanda Seyfried‘s Critics Choice Awards gown was one of Dior’s classics, yet the actress did not feel comfortable due to a wardrobe malfunction. Seyfried’s time in the spotlight began during her teenage years; she became a model at 11 and at 15, a staple on TV following her role as Lucy Montgomery in As the World Turns.
While she has consolidated her TV presence with about twenty awards and several nominations, the onscreen diva is notorious for wardrobe malfunctions. In 2013, while filming Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young, she strolled down the streets of Brooklyn without pants, flaunting her orange underwear.
Three years later, she headlined another wardrobe malfunction posing for a photo shoot in the city of love. The Mean Girls star wore a baby pink dress that showed some part of her bare bottom. Recently, Amanda Seyfried’s Critics Choice Awards appearance put her up for another closest-gone-wrong. But how did she arrest the situation at the star-studded event?

Amanda Seyfried’s Critics Choice Awards Gown Kept “Ripping” Due to a Wardrobe Malfunction
Amanda Seyfried’s Critics Choice Awards look was second to none. The Family Guy star bent to the will of French stylist, Elizabeth Stewart. Stewart chose a gold archival dress from the stables of Dior, leaving the celebrity with a radiant look on the red carpet.
This worked magic with her hot red lipstick, glamorous makeup face, gold liquid metallic Stuart Weitzman heels, and Cartier jewelry. Later, the 37-year-old admitted that the off-shoulder dress kept “ripping and actually breaking.” Eventually, she accepted defeat, and jokingly declared, “I’m just going to take off my dress.”
Long before her dress fell apart, she was in high spirits, claiming that the attire was a “statue dress,” and that it would comfort her if she did not win. She got already got a statue even if she doesn’t win. However, the onscreen diva had nothing to fear as she walked up the stage to receive her award for best actress for The Dropout.
While accepting the victory, Amanda Seyfried’s Critics Choice Awards dress was hiding in the warmth of a black jacket, and she allowed her hair to land loosely on her shoulders.
