Amazon is continuing to bring us the newest and most innovative ways of making our lives easier. The internet giant’s new creation is the Echo Look. The Echo Look is an Alexa-powered camera created especially for taking fashion photos and selfies. This device doesn’t even need a full-length mirror! You simply stand in front of the Echo Look, ask if to take a photo, and you are left with a full-length image of you and your chosen outfit for the day. It even has a depth sensing camera to blur your background so your outfit really stands out. And that’s not all!

The Alexa components will come with Style Check. Style Check is basically an app that allows you to compare two outfits together, and the app picks which one looks better on you. The app works by combining AI algorithms and fashion advice from top experts in the field. From the photos you take, the Look will begin to develop an idea for the types of styles you prefer and will be able to help you dress for whatever weather or mood you might be in. It will also create a “lookbook” that allows you to look back on previous outfits you’ve put together and worn.

Don’t run to Amazon’s website right away to grab one, because you would be sorely disappointed. They are only selling the Echo Look’s by invitation only for about $200 at the moment. If you really can’t wait until they become available to the public, you can request an invitation from Amazon to try their new Echo Look. However, there is no guarantee that you will get accepted. Why Amazon is only releasing the Look’s at an invitation-only basis at the moment is uncertain, but maybe they are hoping to iron out a few last minute bugs.
