Amber Heard has reportedly quit her Hollywood career and quietly relocated to Madrid, Spain. Heard has starred in numerous blockbuster movies like Aquaman and many others over the years. However, the American actress has now moved to Madrid with her 2-year-old daughter, Oonagh. Heard’s move to Madrid came after the legal drama with ex-husband, Johnny Depp. The Pineapple Princess actress has now decided to move away from the drama to a more quiet place. Why Did Heard Quit Her Hollywood Career?
Amber Heard has decided to relocate to Madrid with her daughter, leaving her Hollywood career behind. According to a friend of the Machete Kills actress, Heard is bilingual in Spanish and is happy in Madrid. The friend also stated that the actress wants to raise her daughter “away from all the noise.”
According to Daily Mail‘s Alison Boshoff, Amber Heard’s friend stated that the Never Back Down actress is not in a hurry to return to Hollywood. She continued that, however, this might not be the end of Heard’s Hollywood career. The actress’s friend also added that Heard might be back “when the time is right, for the right project.”
Heard’s decision to leave her career has got many people talking. However, Amber Heard’s representatives are yet to comment on her move to Madrid. The mother-of-one is presently enjoying her stay in Madrid with her daughter.
What Has Amber Heard Been Doing In Madrid?
Per Marca, the Drive Angry actress has been enjoying her time in Spain. In October 2022, Heard was spotted having a great time on the beach in Palma de Mallorca. Some days before, she was also spotted playing with Oonagh at a kid’s park. The actress has mostly protected her daughter from the public eye since she was born via surrogacy in July 2021.
The move to Madrid came after Amber Heard was ordered to pay her ex-husband Depp $10 million in compensatory damages. She was also to pay him $350,000 in punitive damages. This was for defaming Depp in a 2018 op-ed piece Heard wrote for The Washington Post.
The actress, however, asked the judge to toss the verdict by the jury. The Hidden Palms actress instead requested a retrial with the claims that their verdict was not supported by evidence. Despite the legal drama with Depp, Amber Heard seems to be enjoying her new life in Madrid.
