Amy Robach’s ABC exit deal was chunkier than her former co-host turned lover, TJ Holmes. But this is because of their years on the job.
Amy Robach and TJ Holmes knew how to mix their business with pleasure. As co-hosts on “Good Morning America,” fans found them irresistible. Their energy and connection were brilliant.
But while it did good to the show and earned them the hearts of fans, respect, and love from their individual spouses, it developed into an inseparable bond.
After raising eyebrows— thanks to photos that confirmed they were more than friends, they were pulled off the show. Amid losing their spot on the morning show, sources have confirmed that they got severance packages. However, Amy Robach’s ABC exit deal is better than Holmes’.

Amy Robach’s ABC Exit Deal Was Not What TJ Holmes Got
Though Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have both served the network, according to an insider, Amy Robach’s ABC exit deal was commensurate with her commitment to the show. As such, it was a better deal.
Robach, who became a part of the CBS staff in 2012, was dedicated to her job. Apart from co-hosting on “GMA3,” she was a constant face on the news magazine “20/20.”
On the other hand, Holmes became a part of the “GMA3” in 2014 when he joined Robach on screen. But another source does not believe their two years apart is responsible for the pay difference. The insider opined the pair were paid their due salary for the remainder of the contract, adding:
“It’s possible they could have gotten paid slightly more to sign an NDA — and to keep the peace.”
But whatever the pay is, some close sources wonder if it was worth the scandal. For the disgraced co-hosts, they have been basking in each other’s company.
Despite the fallout with the network, Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are said to be in love and have been communicating with some active staff members of CBS.
While they are doing perfectly, sources confirmed that some staffers are distraught over their exit— “half are supportive of how the network navigated the situation but half feel like their termination was wrong.”
