Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ended their relationship back in 2016. Although they’ve been apart for the better part of a decade, the actress has yet to really move on from their marriage. Sources are now claiming that the Girl, Interrupted star is stuck when it comes to her love life, and it’s all because of her divorce from Pitt. She’s said to be at a standstill because she’s afraid of getting hurt again.
In Touch Weekly reports that Angelina Jolie’s split from Brad Pitt was extremely difficult for her. Since that time, she’s allegedly been shying away from romance because of the fear that her relationships will end up in a bad place.
“There’s a reason Angelina is still single, and it’s not for a lack of men lining up to date her,” says a source. “Fact is, she keeps them all at a distance because she’s so terrified of getting hurt again the way she did with Brad. It’s been nearly a decade since they split up.”

Brad and Angelina got together shortly after Pitt’s split from Jennifer Aniston in 2005. Although, there were rumors that the actor cheated on his then-wife with Jolie. The couple went on to build their family which included three adopted children and three biological kids. In 2014 they finally walked down the aisle. However, just two years later Jolie filed for divorce.
Pitt is currently said to be getting serious with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. However, Jolie has yet to move on publicly with anyone.
“He’s moved on, but she’s frozen. Unless she finds a way to heal, the scars of their toxic relationship may prevent her from ever moving on. Before she met Brad, she was so fearless and very quick to let love in, but these days she’s the complete opposite. She just refuses to allow herself to be vulnerable, and it’s obvious that her trust in men has been destroyed by what she went through with Brad,” the informant added.
The insider went on to reveal that Angelina Jolie previously used her six children and the responsibilities of parenthood as an excuse for not dating. However, the children are all nearly grown now. “She’s so damaged she may never trust anyone again.”
“She’s traumatized for real. She needs to move on,” one person commented.
“Angelina used to be such a force. She seems so much different now,” another wrote.
Recently, Angelina Jolie has been linked to rapper Akala. However, they have yet to make anything publicly official.
