There is no denying that many people today depend on delivery apps. So, with the popularity of online shopping, customers would expect packers and delivery employees to take great care with the items they handle. Well, that is what customers expect, but this one in Arizona had to refuse the delivery because the employee handled it very carelessly. Needless to say, the customer couldn’t unbox their package as they returned it.
Redditor AugieGreenfield shared a video on r/mildlyinfuriating that is so upsetting it could trigger more than one person. The video shows the exterior of a house when a delivery worker arrives on the scene with a large box. The problem is that this employee turned it around every time they took a step, instead of carrying the box or dragging it carefully. In addition, with each turn, the box made a very peculiar sound.
“Post a video of you unboxing it,” said mcnuggetmakr.
I respond to this in a comment to OP, explaining that he had to refuse delivery of their package after hearing such a strange sound coming from the box. The real problem that caused OP to refuse delivery is that what the worker in Arizona was actually carrying was a glass table. So with all the twists and turns the box went through, it’s very likely that the table was completely broken.
“The way you can literally hear the broken glass tumble around inside the box each time he pushes it to another side 😭😭,” commented lowkeypapi.
“You can hear the exact moment the tempered explodes lmao 🤦🏻😭,” said 610buckfiftee.
“I guess he couldn’t read FRAGILE written on the box.??? Or did the store not put it in a box meant for glass?” added CompleteTell6795.
It’s true what many Redditors said: the packaging didn’t look the best and wasn’t sturdy enough to transport it. Others also pointed out that the employee might have needed someone to help deliver the package, as it might have been too heavy for one person. However, several users responded that employees often have the tools needed to handle heavy items during deliveries. A few others criticized OP for requesting a glass table for delivery. To this, OP replied that in their small town, they could only get the table through delivery and that they had already ordered another table before, with no problems.
Fortunately, OP refused the package, and the company is now obliged to send them a new table or a refund.
