Netflix plans on turning Kotaro Isaka’s novel Seesaw Monster into a movie with Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek leading as they play as rivals who will work together. Isaka is known for writing the novel Maria Beetle, which got adapted into the action comedy with Brad Pitt, Bullet Train.
Details outside of the casting of Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek for Seesaw Monster are unknown, like an expected production or release date for the film. Olivia Milch (Ocean’s Eight) is signed up to write the screenplay. No director has been enlisted.
The two leads will produce with Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, Ryosuke Saegusa, and Yuma Terada. Jose Tamez, Siobhan Flynn, Adam Shulman, Jonathan Rice, and Milch as the executive producers.
