Apex Legends is known for its fast-paced gameplay and diverse roster of weapons and characters. The game’s developers are always looking for ways to shake up the established Battle Royale formula, and Season 15 is no exception. The season has brought back the much-loved Winter Express LTM just in time for the holidays. Special events like the upcoming Celestial Sunrise Collection Event are crucial for keeping games like Apex Legends alive and engaging for players. As part of this event, players will be introduced to a new gameplay mode called Apex Legends Hardcore Royale, which promises to offer a more challenging and intense experience.
Apex Legends Hardcore Royale Mode Changes
Hardcore Royal is a game mode in Apex Legends that makes the gameplay more challenging and realistic by increasing player vulnerability. In this mode, players can expect a limited HUD, white armor only, no helmets, and no armor spawning in deathboxes. Additionally, the ring in this mode will start at max damage, requiring players to avoid it at all costs.
The game mode is inspired by Call of Duty‘s Hardcore mode, which aims to imitate real-life combat more closely by drastically reducing players’ HP and removing the HUD. The event also features a reactive Peacekeeper skin, which players can earn by completing the event collection.
The Hardcore Royale mode will go live with the Celestial Sunrise Collection event starting on Tuesday, January 24. It’s important to note that in order to play Hardcore Royal, players must have reached Level 20 or above on their Apex Legends account. Therefore, it is recommended to reach level 20 when the new mode is released.
