Minecraft is a game that many would think is simplistic. Graphics aren’t anything compared to modern games like God of War: Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West. Yet, even with the lack of that, the game is quite deep, and we are not talking about its caves. The game has changed a lot through the years, adding more and more things to keep players engaged. While there is a huge modding community, those playing vanilla Minecraft have a lot of things to discover. Now, we got news about the Archeology feature coming to Minecraft’s upcoming 1.20 update.
Archeology is one of the many features coming to Minecraft’s 1.20 update
The official blog post mentions that Archeology is the upcoming feature for Minecraft’s 1.20 update. In the article, we can see that the best place to get the new archeology items is in the desert. With the new brush item being added, players can dust off mysterious sand to find either pottery shards or something else. While the update might just work on the desert, Mojang says they might add more excavation sites in the future. Still, having something else to do in this biome is fantastic.
