The public has been thrown into another royal scandal after Prince Harry and his wife Meghan as the couple rebranded their website from Archwell to Sussex.com. According to their critics, their rebranding breaks a promise Harry and Meghan made to the late Queen Elizabeth II about not using their royal titles to make money. In their defense, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has said that she’s “a fan” of their website’s new rebrand as it advertises the Invictus Games, saying that the website is a return to her and Harry’s “royal roots.”
Meghan Markle Says She’s a “Fan” of Sussex.Com Despite Critics
Up until recently, the website Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used as a base for the Archwell Foundation, Archwell Productions, and the Invictus Games – a sports competition for disabled veterans – was named Archwell. The website shared its name with their charity foundation, production banner, and presumably some relation to their son Archie. Now, however, the website has been rebranded Sussex.com, in honor of the couple’s titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the royal family is divided once again.
According to the couple’s critics, the decision to rename their website breaks Harry and Meghan’s promise to the late Queen, who never wanted them to use their royal titles to make money. Royal author Angela Levin was particularly loud about this, calling their actions “sickening” in a recent interview with GB News.
“The late Queen Elizabeth II said to them that she did not want them to use any royal titles to make money. They agreed to that. I suspect she thought that was a promise, and they’re not sticking to it at all. They’re using it 100 per cent so they can make as much money as possible.”

In defense of the rebrand, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, said she’s “a fan” of the new website’s designers, praising their “attention to detail” and “creativity and care” when it came to the rebrand, according to the Independent.
They’re not just designers; they are collaborators who elevate your ideas into visual identities. They’re a very special company. Plus they’re Canadian, so I’m a fan.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both in Vancouver at the moment, discussing plans for the Invictus Games. The Games, which Harry started after his tours in the Royal Air Force, will host 550 disabled veterans from over 25 countries to compete in an international competition event.
