Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are living it up in New York City. According to Page Six, the couple celebrated the singer’s recent Saturday Night Live hosting gig by attending an after-party in the Big Apple. Following the show, the two headed to the popular French restaurant L’Avenue at Saks, where they met up with other major celebrities. Despite the fact that Slater just went through a messy divorce with his high school sweetheart Lilly Jay, the Broadway star appeared happy as he partied the night away with Grande and their friends.

An eyewitness told the publication that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were inseparable during the festivities. “[They] were side by side throughout the evening, looking happy and in love,” the witness said. They appeared to really enjoy themselves as they didn’t leave the party until 3:30 a.m.
The couple had plenty of celebrity friends to keep them company during the celebratory dinner. Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost attended with his wife and Marvel actress Scarlett Johansson. Grande’s close friend and fellow Nickelodeon alum Elizabeth Gillies also received an invite. Other celebrities spotted at the party were Stevie Nicks, Maya Rudolph, Simu Liu, and Bowen Yang.
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater’s appearance at the after-party comes just weeks after the Spamalot actor finalized his divorce from Jay. The pair reached a settlement on Thursday, Sept. 12. They were married for five years and had welcomed one child together before calling it quits. Shortly after his romance with Grande became public, Slater filed for divorce from Jay in July 2023. The Wicked actress then filed for divorce from her husband Dalton Gomez that September.
Despite many fans disapproving of Grande and Slater’s relationship, the couple seems to be ignoring the noise as they gradually become more public.
