Ariana Grande has closed the lid on plastic surgery rumors with the ultimate test. The singer has been in the spotlight since she was a child, and her changing appearance has often sparked concerns about going under the knife. It also doesn’t help that at 31, Grande still looks youthful as ever. Now, for the first time, the 7 Rings singer is directly addressing the speculations, making sure they never rear their ugly heads.
While promoting Wicked with co-star Cynthia Erivo, Grande participated in the infamous Vanity Fair Lie Detector Test. “You sing ‘Popular’ in our film. Did you ever get any work done to make yourself feel more popular? Erivo asked just minutes into the game. Rather than get offended by the question, the former child star beamed with joy at the chance to truly clear the air. “Oh, thank goodness,” she gushed before proceeding to answer all the questions.
When asked if she got a her nose done and a boob job, the Sam & Cat star answered with an affirmative “No.” However, when questioned about a facelift, she said, “No, not yet. I’m open.” The standby analyst confirmed Grande was telling the truth to all the questions, causing the singer to get excited. She declared:
“This is the best day of my life. Take that you YouTube people.”
Erivo then proceeded with more questions, asking her co-star, “Did you get a Fox eye lift?” She answered, “No, but I discovered it through people who thought I did and I said thank you.” Grande also revealed that she hadn’t done a chin impant or gotten a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL.) “I’ve had fillers in various places and Botox, but I stopped like four years ago. That is the extent,” she explained. Despite never going under the knife, the 31-year-old fully supports those who want to. “Why do we care?” she quipped.
Ariana Grande Used To Hide With Fillers & Botox
This isn’t Ariana Grande’s first time of addressing what cosmetic procedures she has undergone. In a September 2023 Vogue video where she shared her beauty secrets, the R.E.M Beauty founder got candid about how she has towed the line in the past.
“I had a ton of lip filler over the years, and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I felt so — too much,” she said. “For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me and now I feel like maybe it’s not.”
