Ariana Grande shocked fans last Spring as she stepped out in an open pink coat with a black minidress beneath it showing her protruding chest bones. The 30-year-old pop star has spent much of the past year making headlines for her slimmed-down frame. Likewise, for seeing her fans continuing to express concern over her weight loss — this, despite Ariana herself asking people not to “comment” on other people’s bodies.
With comments to her Instagram limited, Ariana’s fans don’t get much of a chance to express their thoughts on her social media, but they are free to comment elsewhere. These April 2023 photos now come filled with a comment section asking if the Grammy winner is okay.
Ariana Grande Shocks Instagram With Weight Loss
Enjoying a glam night out in London, U.K. and accompanied by Cynthia Erivo, Ariana seemed in good spirits as the paparazzi caught her smiling.
Looking gorgeous as she channeled her ballerina-core era in a massive pink puffer coat falling to the floor, the “thank u, next” singer chose luxury designer Balenciaga for her outerwear, pairing it with a thin-strapped brown minidress with a bodysuit feel.
The Sandy Liang minidress retails for $525. Adding in knee-high Bottega Veneta boots in cream and completing her outfit with a tiny pink clutch purse, Ariana nailed her girly look as she stunned with her hair in a ponytail, but very few of the comments are about her ensemble.
In a nutshell, fans are all wondering if the superstar singer is unwell.
Fans Asking What ‘Happened?’
“She doesn’t look like herself.. should we be worried for her?” one fan asked. Another, meanwhile, called Grande “gorgeous,” but they added that she was “so skinny.”
“What happened to her face and body? Is she Ok?” a third queried. “She looks so thin,” a fourth jumped in, adding that they hoped she is “ok.” The comments just kept on coming. “Ariana needs milk and cookies so thin,” one fan remarked.
A few users also inferred that the ex to Pete Davidson might be taking weight loss drug Ozempic. Celebrities from Kim Karadashian to Christina Aguilera have had fans pointing the Ozempic finger, although only a small handful have admitted to using it. The photos were taken the same month that saw Ariana take to social media to ask fans to leave her alone.
“I think we could be, I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what,” the starlet wrote.
