Ariana Grande has sparked major concern as fans seeing her latest Instagram photos express worry over her weight. The singer, 31, is fresh from sharing a 14-slide gallery for her mass fanbase, one summing up her life and including some figure-flaunting snaps.
Ariana, who made 2023 headlines for politely asking fans to stop commenting on peoples’ bodies, has limited comments on her Instagram. That said, fans are still speculating that something is wrong, with the thoughts all over The Daily Mail‘s comments section. When the outlet documented the pop sensation’s photos on Friday, users called her “frail,” with some also wondering if she was showing signs of an eating disorder.
Ariana Grande Shares New Selfies On Instagram
For her opening slide, Ariana wore a black turtleneck minidress, showing off her slender legs and tiny waist while looking sophisticated and stylish.
Wearing a ponytail and shoulder baguette purse, the “thank u, next” hitmaker pouted a little while fully made up, also sharing slides of her dog and a close-up of her face. Fans got a reminder of the Wicked star’s love of home baking with a further slide including a tray of fresh-baked cookies.
Showing off more of her figure in a two-piece look, Ariana also posed in a strapless black crop top, going bandeau-style in a feathery bralette while wearing a matching pencil skirt. Offering up BTS vibes in her selfie, the actress showed moments from her Wicked filming. Flaunting her abs and tattoos, Ariana highlighted her delicate features, dropping only a white heart emoji in her caption.
Told She Looks So ‘Frail’ And Unwell
Fans left Ariana over 2 million likes, but with comments limited, they weren’t able to share their thoughts properly.
“She’s so frail and old-looking now, and she’s only 31! I used to think she was very pretty,” one fan replied. Also worried was the fan asking: “Looks ill, eating disorder? I’m not one to say anything but there are clear indications.”
While one user harshly skinny-shamed the singer and likened her to a “skeleton,” another wrote:
“She’s always been tiny and slender, but she’s starting to look like she’s either shedding water weight like a bodybuilder before a big competition or truly not eating enough calories to support her body.”
April 2023 had marked Grande taking to TikTok as she told fans: “We should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what.” At the time of the video, the Grammy winner was in the wake of her divorce from ex-husband Dalton Gomez.
