Ariel Winter is all grown up, and her Instagram fans were quick to remind her that she’s “not so little” as they gushed over her recent birthday snaps. Posting shortly after the L.A. birthday celebrations she enjoyed earlier this year, the 26-year-old actress showed off her gorgeous post-party glow in outdoor shots, also showing off her cute sense of style as she rocked a minidress.
Dropping two snapshots for her 5 million followers, the Modern Family alum sent out a big smile in her opening slide. The second focused on her little black dress. Meanwhile, comments were topped by fans referencing her former on-screen Alex Dunphy character as they called her “our not so little Alex.”
Ariel Winter Stuns Instagram In Birthday Dress
Delighting fans with a gorgeous smile as she posed from an outdoor terrace backing onto picnic tables and lawns, Ariel let the sun kiss her face as she posed close up and showing off her famous, flame-colored locks.
Seated at one of the tables as she enjoyed the sunshine, Ariel showed off her shapely shoulders in an off-the-shoulder dress with elasticated detailing, then rocking the dress as a full look in the next slide.
Flashing her toned legs as she rocked her thigh-grazing number, Ariel drew the eye to her curvy figure while upping her designer game. Slinging a YSL purse over her shoulder, the Hollywood actress smiled for the camera while rocking an embellished black pair of knee boots, looking stylish from head to toe.
‘Not So Little’ Anymore
In a caption, Ariel told fans: “26 years + 4 days old 🧚🏻♀️🎂❤️.”
The February 1 post has earned over 200,000 likes, and comments are led by fans referencing Ariel’s best-known Alex Dunphy character on 2020-ended sitcom Modern Family.
“Happiest birthday to our not so little Alex😭💖,” one fan said, as over 300 others liked the comment. “GORGEOUS,” another replied.
Of how she processes comments to her social media, Ariel told Teen Vogue: “So many people show so much love and support, and you spend so much time on the negative comments and ignore all the positive ones.”
“You overlook the positive comments, because as soon as you see the positive ones it’s like, ‘Okay, great, but these people don’t agree.’ But why do those people’s [negative] comments matter more than those [positive] comments?” she continued.
Ariel joins the list of stars who have been body-shamed on social media. In 2019, she dropped a reported 30 pounds as a result of switching her antidepressant medication. The result was nasty trolling as fans accused Ariel of taking drugs to drop the weight. Ariel defended herself and explained the whole thing.
